The breakfast was a pleasant surprise with homemade waffles in the shape of Texas! The chairs in the lobby breakfast area are well worn.You have to make a request if you want your room cleaned every day. We actually did request the room to be cleaned one of our four nights. The odd thing was that we had two Queen size beds and only one of the beds was made. Very strange. Super odd. We had to use our cell phones to call the front desk because the room phone did not work in Room 313. When we mentioned this the lady who answered the phone said, did you want the phone to work? We both looked at each other in a bit of shock. Did I pay for a room with a working phone? I do have to say the women at the front desk in person were kind and welcoming. I asked for a plain envelope and the older nice lady offered me a stamp and directions to the post office. I was very grateful.
