"The Cherokee Lodge is a lovely, charming little cottage just a few minutes walk to everything fun in Coronado. My daughter and I stayed in room 9 which is very small but plenty of room for the two of us. Our first night was fine aside from the fact the refrigerator in the room did not work but our second was awful. The air conditioning unit kept over heating and blowed hot air. The small room was stifling hot and we woke up at 2:30 sweaty and miserable. Unable to sleep we called the number that...
"I had a smoke detector die in my room and start beeping around 8 at night. I called the front desk, they said maintenance was gone and they didn't know what to do. They first told me to take the battery out. I refused as I was not physically able to climb on the chair and reach the detector. They said there would be someone coming at 11 pm who...
"Good luck finding a better deal in Coronado. Is this the Hotel Del Coronado or Glorietta Bay Inn? No, but the staff was great. From the front desk to the cleaning crew. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooms were fine. Only complaint I’d have that is very minor is the breakfast area is tiny so there isn’t much space to sit and eat. But that didn’t come close to ruining the trip. 5/5 would stay here again"
