"My wife and I were on a week-long bike ride and we chose this Hampton Inn because it was on our bike route. It felt new and well cared for. The public area off the entrance included comfortable places to sit and work with good coffee available nearby all day. The tuck shop had a good selection of snacks and treats. There was also a nice small terrace outside, next to the pool (which was inside) where we could sit at a table to read and check emails. The staff were welcoming and readily took our bikes for storage. Our room was large and felt extra spacious due to the high ceiling. It was clean and bright including the well appointed bathroom. The breakfast area was well laid out and maintained. We needed more time to get going on a rainy day and we were welcome to use the lobby and the gym past check out time. We felt well looked after."

"Stayed here for one week. The bed was comfy and soft. Sheets and towels were impeccable. But more importantly for me was the air conditioner kept up with the 30 degree heat. And ran quiet. Allowing me to sleep. The room was quiet from the Main Street noise. But the most important part of my stay was the staff. The manager was one of the most helpful attentive people I have ever met. He listened to my requests and responded fast to replace items. It’s clear he has a strong work ethic. If you are around the Cornwall area. I definitely recommend this spot for the price. 10/10 would stay here again."

"I was in Room 125. It was clean and easily accommodated me. The bathroom is a tad small, but this time I was on my own, so I could occupy all the space. Dinner was not a success this time, but the wait staff made it right for me - I was pleasantly surprised by their generosity. Breakfast was the usual: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and potato home fries, a selection of cereal, a few fruit, yogurt, juices, milk, tea, coffee. What stands out are real dishes and utensils (no paper plates or wood utensils). Again, kudos to the cheerful wait staff."

"The room was clean including the bathroom and tub. Staff was very limited but good. Physical maintainence wasn't. Faucets were about to fall apart and the patking lot was full of litter and cigarette butts some very old . It was dark with one tiny light plus one bulb overhead. Easy fixes all to make 5 star budget stay. The location is great."
