"I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I lived in Chico for a couple years have been gone for a couple years. Booked here not realizing where it's location was my bad. But turned out wonderful. I don't know when they did a update but the room I stayed in was very well appointed updated extremely clean I can't express enough how pleased I was. The staff was friendly and took care of my needs will stay again when necessary."

"This hotel in in mint condition, with an approachable and professional staff. The pool/hot tub area was clean, and the breakfast was by far one of the most fully stocked and well prepared I have encountered in a long time. "

"Rooms were clean, looked newly refurbished, as others have mentioned. Complementary breakfast was standard with a few hot items (eggs, bacon, potatoes). The frig in the room held al the items in my cooler and the front desk kindly kept my freezer packs in their freezer overnight. Hop Valley Brewery was a short walk from the parking lot for casual dining, and locally owned (which I prefer over chains). Hampton is owned by Hilton. Turns out I am 25 years late in learning this. Very reasonable price for my room while passing through town on a Sunday night. I would return."
