Kein 5-Sterne-Standard Unser Aufenthalt im Sandy Villas Resort hat die Erwartungen absolut nicht erfüllt. Das Positive Der Strand ist toll und ein echtes Highlight. Auch der Privatpool war sehr schön und bot eine wunderbare Rückzugsmöglichkeit. Leider enden hier die positiven Aspekte. Zustand & Sauberkeit Das Resort leidet unter unübersehbarem Sanierungsstau. Man sieht deutlich, dass hier dringend renoviert werden müsste. Noch gravierender war allerdings die mangelnde Sauberkeit. In einem 5-Sterne-Hotel ist das schlichtweg inakzeptabel. Gastronomie & Anlagen Das Essen war eine Enttäuschung und erreichte nicht einmal 4-Sterne-Niveau. Nach einer Beschwerde durften wir auf die À-la-carte-Restaurants ausweichen, doch auch das brachte keine wirkliche Verbesserung: Die Gerichte waren geschmacklich absolut nichts Besonderes. Ein großes Manko ist zudem, dass viele Einrichtungen mit dem angrenzenden 4-Sterne-Hotel geteilt werden müssen. Da das Nachbarhotel seine Sterne unserer Ansicht nach ebenfalls nicht verdient, zieht das die Atmosphäre und Qualität in den geteilten Bereichen massiv nach unten. Fazit Wer nur Wert auf einen tollen Strand und einen Privatpool legt, findet Lichtblicke. Wer jedoch guten Service, Kulinarik und die Instandhaltung eines echten 5-Sterne-Hauses erwartet, wird enttäuscht. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier leider überhaupt nicht.

Sicuramente uno dei pro è il mare, il cibo è di buona qualità ed essendo in Grecia con la grande tradizione mediterranea è davvero fifficile non travare qualcosa di buono da mangiare. Ero nel Sandy Villa, resort più piccolo ed esclusivo, anche se alla fine i servizi sono gli stessi del Sandy Beach, peccato che il Sandy Villa sia lontanissimo da tutto (ristoranti & spiaggia sopratutto), quindi alla fine di esclusivo non c'era proprio niente. C'è un servizio di trasporto tramite Golf car, ma questi sono decisamente sottodimensionati rispetto agli ospiti, e spesso aspettavo con la mia fimiglia per periodi interminabili sotto al solo in attesa del passagio, tanto che alla fine decidavamo di muoverci a piedi. Fidatevi che il mare è davvero lontano! Amimazione Francese super con migliaia di attività (peccato che essendo appunto francese, non era rivolta ad ospiti di altre nazionalità), quilla internazionale e Alpitour, INESISTENTE. Ci siamo fatti tratte in inganno del resort piccolo ed esclusivo, invece con i servizi condivisi con il Sandy Beach, alla fine sei solo lontano da tutto e inserito in un contesto da turismo di massa. Mi sa che c'è stato qualche problema con le piscine al Villa, dato il colore dell'acqua. Anche gli orari non sono in linea con il nostro modello di vacanza. Alle 18 chiudono le piscine con tanto di transenne e alle 21:30 chiusw il buffet (alle 21:15 i camerieri iniziano a togliere le pietanze). Sicuramente non reputo il servizio all'altezza di un 5 stelle!

Despite staying in the 5-star Villas section, we had to walk across the resort 4–5 times daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, using the same restaurant as guests from the 4-star Sandy Beach section. Over 15 days, walking more than 10,000 steps per day in extreme heat became exhausting and unacceptable. A restaurant next to the Villas ERMIS is unavailable to Villa guests as only used for a-la-cart. The biggest disappointment was the food. While salads and cheeses were plentiful, the hot meals were poor, repetitive, and often inedible. Fish and seafood were non exsistant, and much of the menu appeared to consist of low-quality frozen products and processed food. The main restaurant felt more like a budget cantine for students and no 4or 5 stars resort. The three à la carte restaurants offered a better experience with some grilled fish, and we ended up eating outside the resort several times.The facilities, pools, and beach are good, but beach access was poorly controlled, with non-guests using hotel sunbeds on a daily basis. Staff were friendly and helpful, even they admitted the food quality was unacceptable.Transportation within the resort was another major issue. With over 2,200 guests, only three golf carts were available. Several times they failed to arrive when called, forcing long walks and causing us to nearly miss meal times.Overall, the facilities are good, but the poor food, excessive walking, inadequate transport, and lack of organization makes far from 5* resort

We stayed in a private Sandy Villa with its own pool, and it was amazing – our son even learned to swim within hours, and swimming at night was magical for the kids. The villa itself was spotless and spacious, and the housekeeping team and buggy drivers were brilliant. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the reception staff, who were very rude. Sadly, the rest of the resort didn’t live up to the same standard. Part of our villa had a strong sewage smell which took four days to “fix”, and even then the problem never fully went away. The food in the main restaurant was average at best, and the dining experience was stressful, with constant noise and crowds. The drinks were another major disappointment – no branded soft drinks, which feels like such a simple fix. The dining areas, pools (other than the Sandy Villas’ pool), and the beach were all overcrowded, with far too many guests for the facilities available. As for the à la carte restaurants – good luck getting a booking! The Sandy Villas themselves are 5-star quality, but being tied to the sister hotel drags the whole experience down. If food and drinks were available on the villa side, we would return in a heartbeat. Until then, it remains a holiday of two halves – 5-star villa, 2-star resort

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel hatte Höhen und Tiefen. Positiv hervorzuheben ist der ausgez eichnete Service. Insbesondere der Zimmerservice und die freundlichen Golfcarfahrer haben uns sehr beeindruckt. Auch die Spezialitätenrestaurants, vor allem das griechische "Ermes Gyro" und das italienische "Il Gusto", waren ein Genuss mit sehr nettem Personal. Der Strand ist ebenfalls hervorragend. ​ Weniger zufrieden waren wir mit der Gastronomie im Hauptrestaurant. Hier war die Qualität des Essens und der Getränke nur mäßig und die Lautstärke sehr hoch. Außerdem fehlte es an den typischen All-inclusive-Snacks wie Gyros, Burger oder Pommes. Eis gab es nur zu den Hauptmahlzeiten im Restaurant, was besonders für Familien enttäuschend sein kann. Unsere Unterkunft in den Sandy Villas war top, mit tollen privaten Pools, aber auch hier fehlten die Snacks im Villen-Bereich. Kurz und auf den Punkt gebracht ​Positiv: ​- Hervorragender Service (Zimmerservice, Golfcarfahrer). - ​Die Spezialitätenrestaurants (Griechisch, Italienisch) sind sehr empfehlenswert und haben nettes Personal. ​- Sehr guter Strand. - ​Tolle Sandy Villas mit privaten Pools. ​Negativ: ​- Essen und Getränke im Hauptrestaurant waren qualitativ nicht gut. ​- Hauptrestaurant ist sehr laut. ​- Keine Snacks wie Gyros, Burger oder Pommes. - Eis gab es nur im Hauptrestaurant zu den Hauptmahlzeiten. ​- Keine Snacks im Bereich der Sandy Villas.
