The main building is very nice, and the breakfast is nice, even if there were quite few guests when we stayed there.
I suspect the business is going badly though, and here I come to the reason for my bad review. I had booked two nights, but our one year old son had a hard time sleeping due to rooms not being dark enough (not enough curtains, just some blinds).
I contacted Expedia (I booked through them) after one night and checked if I could shorten my stay, and it was ok with them if the hotel agreed to it.
I checked with the front desk clerk and he said it was ok, no problem, they would fix it.
A day later I got a mail from Expedia telling me that the hotel would not agree to it. For me, this means that they somehow do not care about reviews, and that one nights fee is more important than a good reputation. Which might be the case if business is going badly.
The rooms where quite run down. A window at floor height (at my one year old son's height), was broken and couldn't be closed. The hotel also told us beforehand that there would be a baby cot, but there were none, so our son had to sleep in our bed.
Noone answered the hotel phone number. I called them many times and Expedia tried to reach them as well.
So, in short, I wouldn't trust them with any money since I suspect they are going bankrupt any time.
