"We stayed the beginning of Sept. The cabin we rented was " Premium Cabin, 2 Queen Beds, Kitchen, Mountainside". It was recently renovated, cozy and clean. The cabin has a mini frig, Keurig maker & variety of coffees, hot cocoa, etc. Good quality pans for cooking. The cabin had a charcoal grill and a fire pit. "Cabin was really clean and comfortable. It doesn't look like your typical "Alaska cabin," but was recently built, everything was clean, and bed was very comfortable. It was a nice stop for us after having stayed in "rougher" cabins for the last 2 weeks. It is close to Kenai river, but not within walking distance for me. You can drive down about 1 mile down to end of road and walk in about 1/2 mile. Bonus: washer/dryer inside cabin and wi-fi"
