「Very nice hotel and staff」

「I think it was circumstantial, but there was a group in the hotel that made my stay very unpleasant. Shared spaces were dominated by this group and they were generally rude. I was enroute to another city and have always enjoyed stopping in Charleston and staying at this hotel. However, this time was simply awful. I wasn't able to take advantage of the amenities, especially breakfast, so I just left as soon as I got up the next morning. Room was fine, clean, but my experience other than that...

「I love the Embassy Suites because the rooms are very accommodating with the bedroom livingroom style rooms. The made to order breakfasts are perfect way to start the morning. My main complaint about this Emabssy in particular is the parking garage is quite the walk down the street, which makes loading and unloading difficult. With no catwalk to get there in case of inclement weather. I probably will not stay there again because of this reason.」

「All staff were very nice and accommodating. However the facilities are tired and need refreshing. It is conveniently located with easy walking distance to most places.」

「The breakfast menu was not very good; the eggs were watery, and there was no fruit option. But the worst part was the pillows — they were flat and hard, as if they had been used a thousand times and had no fluff left, like a flattened cake.」

「This location has two different brands here: Comfort Inn and Quality Inn. It appears that one brand is more well-maintained, and the price reflects that level of comfort. Located next to the property, in front of the hotel or from the side, depending on which brand you're staying at, is a McDonald's and a gas station, which is supposed to be a truck stop. Across the street, it looked like there was a Subway and a I-Hop. Overall, okay for a quick stop overnight when in Charleston, probably not...

Outward facing rooms are loud and this was increased due to the road construction going on nearby. 「Everything was good with this hotel except the noise from the highway. Our room was in the back of the hotel and within 50 feet of the interstate and trucks made so much noise braking to go around the curve. Difficult to sleep. 」
