「I had to leave because the noise was unbearable. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but only stayed for 1 in the end due to the noise. We book a hotel to try and sleep in and relax. However the music from the bar was so loud. The music went on till midnight, then started again at 7am and went on the whole next day, louder at night. I had the TV on loud, and could still not hear it because of the bass/music coming from the bar. Plus the banging from the corridor of doors, especially from the...

「It was an okay stay. Location was convenient and I liked the idea of pub+hotel - easy for dining and drinking isn't it? However, the hotel rooms honestly need a bit of refurbishing and improvement on cleaniness. Shower faciltiies were a bit old and didn't function quite properly and stains were everywhere to be seen. But other than that price is okay.」

I saw my room and immediately asked for a refund, the girl said she understood and would let the manager know as she would have to process a refund. I have not had a refund having contacted the hotel again and having a email conversation with the manger. It a budget hotel, so the 2 night stay I paid for isn’t worth my time perusing. 「Clean room and bathroom. Bed is comfy, its our 3rd time and we always enjoy our stay. The bar prices were too high in our opinion.」

「Room was clean and nicely presented. There is significant building work taking place so restaurant not open (which they did pre-warn me about,), and skeleton staff. However, the staff were super helpful and friendly. Everything closes at 8pm ( bar, front gates etc) so not a place to stay if you are looking to relax of an evening outside of your room. 」

「There’s good and not quite as good aspects..Lovely sized room and bathroom with fantastic outlook, but smelt a bit damp almost like wet carpet that hadn’t dried properly. Very spacious bathroom with bath and shower, but a sensor turns on the lights so in the middle of the night if you visit the bathroom the whole bathroom lights up like a summers day. Bed really comfy and unusually firm pillows, perfect for me. And Alexa in the bedroom is a nice touch. Really peaceful (until the geese start 😁)...
