"The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. Parking was convenient. If it wouldn’t have been for the paper, thin walls and hearing the guy in the next room, snore all night, the state would’ve been wonderful."

"Only 35 miles from Traverse City, but you’d think you were further, this remote lodge in the Huron-Manistee National Forest is a hidden gem! Somewhat difficult to get to, but worth it if you want to enjoy nature at its finest! Surrounded by tall pines, you are cut off from all city distractions and can truly relax in nature. Groomed trails for ATV and snowmobiles, if you’re into that (alot of their guests are, but that did not detract from the overall experience). Mine was a summer stay; I expect winter snowmobile traffic would make it more raucous. This is not glamping or a luxury stay; it is a basic “up north” experience that is refreshingly real."

"Everyone was very nice and helpful! Room was clean and comfortable. Next stay I’m gonna request that I’m not close to the dinning hall only because my dogs barked at everybody they heard. So we had some rather early mornings 😂"

"We come to Manistee at least once every summer and we always stay at this hotel. Staff is always very nice and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and my daughter and I always enjoy the pool and hot tub. Other than the toilet running off and on constantly we had no complaints. As others said, it would be nice if breakfast had a few healthier options but we still made due and the lady who works in the dining area was really nice. It does make me sad because we plan on coming back to Manistee in the Fall and we had to choose a different place to stay because since it went under Econo Lodge the cost has gone up significantly and the hotel is pretty much exactly the same as it has been for years. Please consider making your prices reasonable again so your loyal customers don’t have to go elsewhere."
