Beautiful B&B
Lonely Bay Lodge is beautiful B&B on exquisitely maintained grounds in Cook Beach. It is a ferry ride to Whitianga (Ferry is about a 25 minute walk or a 5 to 10 minute drive away) and about a 15 minute drive to Hahei beach. Kym was very helpful and welcoming--willing to make reservations, book activities, and even drive us to the ferry landing. Each morning, we were served a private very lavish breakfast each morning and the minibar was all included with wine, beer, water and snacks. Parking is also included in the price of the booking. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in the Cormandel.
