Stinky and dirty

If you are okay with it if your room stinks like a fumoir, its okay. Everybody smokes where ever they want and it stinks up everything. reception didnt tell anything about where the room is and how to get there. when the breakfast is or any info at all. Room cleanliness was not checked before giving me the key. all in all a really bad trip. could‘ve been because of other guests just drinking beer and smoking all night, right under the (not sealed) windows of other rooms. staff should have noticed this as the corridors were stinking a lot as well, as guests have smoked on the emergency exit doors with open doors. never again.

Hotel in die Jahre gekommen, lärmige Lage

Das Zimmer war für eine Nacht akzeptabel, leider aber viel zu klein und seinen Preis nicht wert. Lage sehr lärmig an der Hauptstrasse. Es gab ein einfaches Frühstück für 15.- das aus einem wunderbaren italienischen Kaffee, zwei zu wenig gebackenen Croissants, Brot in Scheiben vom Vortag, Fleisch, Käse etc... bestand. Das italienische Restaurant "Accademia della Pizza" ist einfach, eine Tischreservierung wird empfohlen. Das Essen war in Ordnung (Pizza am Rand verbrannt) es war jedoch sehr hektisch und laut.

Keine grosse Willkommenskultur

Es herrscht keine besondere Willkommenskultur. Ich fragte nach einem ruhigen Zimmer auf der hinteren Seite des Hauses. Man sagte ja, bekam aber ein Zimmer über der Strasse und der Aussenterrasse des Nachbar-Restaurants. Sehr laut! Bei offenem Fenster nicht möglich zu schlafen.

Great traditional Swiss hotel in the Rhone Valley

Lovely little Swiss hotel in the Rhone Valley. I stayed only one night, comfortable single room, beautiful surroundings, and a great Italian/Pizza restaurant on the ground floor where you check in to your hotel room. The restaurant is amazing, and very popular with the locals as it was packed and I was among the only guests in the entire hotel. There is no AC, but weather is quite temperate most times in the valley so not a worry unless you are here during a heat wave. Would definitely stay again!!!

Très bon hôtel mais prévoyez les boules quies

Bon service et gentillesse du personnel. Très bonne pizzeria. Cependant difficile de dormir à cause de la chaleur étouffante et la cacophonie des restaurants en bas. Pas idéal pour se reposer si le lendemain vous devez faire 700km en voiture.
