「Beautiful mansion. Nice room. Old charm. Bathroom was huge. Stayed in McKinley. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Proximity to downtown was great. Walked to Druthers for dinner in 10 mins. Walked to The Thirsty Owl for dessert and wine in 5 mins. No real complaints about place but we likely won’t return. Too many stairs for me. Note that check in is 3pm. Not sooner. They don’t have traditional front desk. 」

「I have stayed at renovated motels in the past and I’ve had wonderful experiences so when I found this motel I thought I would give it a try. The photos of the property were beautiful and it seemed like a modern take on a retro design. Upon arrival my girlfriend and I were surprised to find the building facade to be different than what was posted online, a room that had dirt on its floors/tiles, paint chips in the shower, and a door that doesn’t quite fit its frame.
