Pretty little Portuguese houses, its well worth a walk around the streets behind Avenida Formosa for the quaint village feel away from the cafe bars.
The boardwalk stretches along the river front, nice for a leisurely stroll or to sit and enjoy an icecream whilst looking out over the Ria Formosa #NationalPark. You can get a boat/water taxi across the river to the beach Ilha de Cabanas. The boardwalk runs parallel to the avenida which is lined with cafes and bars, the vibe is casual, and the alfresco dining view is hampered slightly by the boardwalk.
I recommend a walk along the boardwalk with a stop for an icecream from one of the café shops on the street, but take a seat on one of the benches not the café an enjoy the view over the Ria Formosa #NationalPark wetlands. From here get a boat/water taxi across the river to the beach Ilha de Cabanas for a spot of sunbathing or birdwatching as rare birds come to the wetlands to breed.

I was pleasantly surprised by everything at the Golden club hotel. I'd been slightly worried by some reviews before we arrived but i can honestly say our stay in August was excellent. It's a great 3 star hotel. All the staff were brilliant, my children went to kids club on our last 2 days and loved ...

Nice place by car and comfortable hotel.
1, very good flat with new decoration. 2, The flat is including small kitchen with microwave, electronic oven and tableware, it is very convenient to cooking anytime. 3, They didn't have wifi in the room, but you can rent a router with €50 deposit and make a booking in advance, it is ok for us.

We spent the day at Praia Da Rocha. The beaches of Portugal are amazing! Not to be missed. The rock formations are truly remarkable. A perfect place to enjoy a day at the beach!
