Most staff were friendly. Quite basic facilities. One receptionist seemed put out when I asked for a pillowcase. The breakfast was good. Not a great area near the railway station.

It was very conveniently located within easy reach of public transport to get to the city centre sightseeing places. We stayed for two nights and breakfast was average for the rates paid. It was the same breakfast next day!

Slavin memorial in Bratislava was one our of highlights as it really reflecting the contrasting sides to this city. In one direction it was like soviet Russia, the other you'd be mistaken for thinking you were in the Hollywood hills and then there the view down into the medieval city below!
