「We really enjoyed our stay at the Monti-Villa. We’ve never gotten so much bang for our buck until we stayed here. If being too big of a place was an issue, it was kind of a nice to have that issue all to ourselves. Our hosts, Lucy, Rene, and Jose were all very nice and courteous. The ocean views were amazing, the landscaping was gorgeous, and the aesthetic of the place was very tasteful. 「We were super happy with our stay here! The area is beautiful and a 2 min walk to oceanfront restaurants/bars. The hotel seemed new and everything was very clean. Comfortable beds, AC unit, large shower with hot water and great water pressure. Secure parking lot, friendly staff. Wish we could’ve stayed longer and would definitely stay here again! 」

「It's about a 10 minute walk to Sunzal beach - so in that sense the property is very convenient for surfing. That being said, there's very little in the immediate area of the hotel, and it's about a 25-30 minute walk to El Tunco. I rented a motorcycle, so that wasn't much a problem for me. When I was there there's was lots of construction; and there's also plenty of "banging" noise, which I think comes from something that falls out of the trees onto the tin roof of the rooms; that could be a...
