This is not your typical best western hotel. This is a motel. While the rooms were better than I’d expected from looking at the place, you can’t cover shabbiness with a coat of pea soup paint.
The “continental breakfast” (available between 6am-9am) consisted of apples, oranges, juice, cold cereal, bread, yogurt, and a pancake maker that didn’t work. And you can’t forget about the microwaveable “old folks” breakfast sausage sandwiches that were rubbery and tasteless, something I’m sure even the old folks in a home wouldn’t enjoy. The “dining area” did have a Folgers machine that worked but the gentleman at the desk did seem concerned when I went in there to get coffee in the afternoon/evening. Overall, would never stay again!
