Quick stay

You get what you pay for. If you need a comfortable bed and a hot shower, this will do. Maintenance of faucets, floor, and tile is lacking.

I have stayed at every hotel in the Mexico/Kingdom City area and I like the Budget motel because I can stay close to the airport and not waste money on lodging. It is convenient and comfortable.

Sink stopper didn't work, toilet not bolted down securely, TV audio didn't work, door security card wouldn't work on the first 12 attempts, no phone in the room, etc, etc.

Originally booked for the convenient location but checked back out immediately! The room was musty and stale, the door was rotting, bathroom door wouldn't close at all, the were dead bugs and hair in the bathroom, the towels were dirty and stained (rust or blood), the table was sticky, and only one vanity light worked. The lobby/dining room stank (had a fishtank and a couple bird cages). The entire place was just gross! Yes it was cheap but for $10 more (TOTAL) we were able to stay in a nicer place that was clean and actually had the 2 beds that we requested. I would NEVER recommend this place!

The front door was locked with a note that said, will be back at 6:00 PM. That was at 1:30 the day of a funeral I needed to be at , at 2:00. I wanted to shower and get dressed by 2:00. I had to change outside in a parking lot behind a dumpster down the road. When I called to cancel my reservation the guy gave me a bunch of SH@T about I signed the agreement , and check-in was not till 2:00. Check-in may have been 2:00, but the front door should have been open. No one answered the door when I pounded on the door, no one was in the building at 1:30. He was on on the premises when he called me back at 2:00. I have disputed the charge to my VISA card. And told VISA what happened on a recorded line.

Office Clerk was informed that none of the soap dispensers worked. The same condition existed 24 hours later. The clerk said he "forgot"

The room was very nice, clean, spacious and comfortable. We were very impressed with the breakfast, which is handmade by the owner whom wakes up early every morning to prepare pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy with various fruits. Our only negative comment would be the lack of a door in the bathroom. But the room had been remodeled recently so im guessing that a door will be put on soon....i hope.(Hot water was impeccable) If we happen to be in town again, this will be the place we go!

When I went to check in there was a note on the door saying closed until 4 p.m. Gone to a homecoming parade. This is not good business. A guy standing outside the door told us this was not a good place to stay. He said nothing works and they won't fix it. Check in was at 2;00 but they didn't open up until 4;00. So I waited until 4;00 and walked in and told them I was cancelling my reservations. Someone should have stayed at the desk while the other staff went to a homecoming parade. I was not happy.

Lobby is clean and and staff is pleasant. Room includes bathroom are clean and neat. Breakfast has all essential food to eat. The only thing is that the sofa has an obvious stain which prevents me to sit on it. Other than this, a pleasant stay.
