"We stayed here on two separate occasions. We found the desk staff very good and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We would like to see the hotel remove the small plastic cups of water in the room and replace with a filtered water fountain on each floor. Overall a good place to stay and very close ..."

Beira lake is situated just 1km away from the heart of Colombo. It has been one of the top tourist destinations in the commercial capital, Colombo as Gangarama Temple is located just next to Beira lake. I really recommend this place for you who are visiting Sri Lanka. Other than the religious background, it's a great place to capture some water birds as well.

When in Hunupitiya, you can plan a visit to Colombo Lotus Tower and Colombo City Centre, some noteworthy sights in the nearby area.

Coffee done right at The Grind. A quaint escapade amidst the bustle of Union Place! Few meters away from the Odel Mall you will find this small, trendy coffeehouse. In the picture is a Flat White and I absolutely loved it. There are only a handful of places in Sri Lanka where they do their coffee right and I can safely say that The Grind is one. There are unique dishes and drinks available on their menu and it must be noted that their portions are really worth your buck and all prices are inclusive of service charge and tax!
