The hotel was very centrally located — just a few minutes’ walk to excellent train connections for both the trade fair and the main station. There were plenty of restaurants and markets within walking distance, which made exploring the area really convenient. Despite the vibrant neighborhood, the hotel was pleasantly quiet at night. Overall, a great place to stay for both business and leisure.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. Close to our music venue

We just stayed at the Niu Hotel to walk to a music venue at the E-werke in 10-15 minutes, which was perfect. The hotel is spotless and compact, plus the personnel was friendly. The breakfast they offer is good, and I will book my next stay when I am in the Köln area.

Conveniently located

It was a tiny room for 3 people, but okay for one night. Parking was on the premises and they had a good breakfast buffet. Easy to get to from the Autobahn and easy to leave again. There is an U-Bahn station right at the corner, making it easy to get to the cathedral and center of Köln.

Nice hotel, staff were friendly and provided guidance to the questions asked. Super comfortable beds. The only down side that there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, but that is just a personal opinion. Great location for the palladium.

A nice modern hotel.

Great location to Weiner Platz, kiosk opposite open until the early hours. Staff helpful and friendly, service at hotel bar was a bit slow due to them manning both stations but selection was good. Room was clean, comfy and spacious - lighting was quite dim and no bath tub, but shower was excellent and beds very very comfy. Would stay again, great value.

This was a bad experience. The hotel does not represent Holiday Inn experience. There is no sign of Holiday Inn from outside, only The-niu which was confusing to us and our taxi driver which we ended up in Holiday Inn Express, then returning to this hotel only to find the IHG signs inside by the check in desk. Complaining to the clerk ended up with nowhere other than apology, they are aware of the confusion that’s been creating with other guests as well. We saw other guests arrive with same problem. The room was very small, no closet, just a small rack to hang only two hangers. The staff was very nice. Bottom line, this is not the reputation of Holiday Inn definitely will not return.
