Nice hotel and friendly staff

I stayed here during Gamescom week, and as the tram station was less than a 5-minute walk away, I had a straightforward journey to and from the expo. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, and the breakfast was great. I'd definitely recommend, and would stay there again.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is very close to the city centre and has a supermarket and a bakery next door. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and have everything you need. The only thing we didn’t like was the loud elevator that you could hear in your room.

My only problem with the Room was that the bathroom, instead of having tiling like anyone would expect, used the same floor paneling as the rest of the room, and was on level with the rest of the room, so any spill from showering (which happened a LOT with the weird bathtub/shower combo that had a flimsy shield on it to try to prevent spill, but that was leaking) could just flow under the door right into the rest of the room. The door of the bathroom also apparently had water damage at some point, since the inner surface finish of it was peeling off at the bottom. Maybe instead of investing in fancy tablet PCs to be in the room for information and contacting staff, they should have invested in renovating the bathrooms. Other than that, the staff was friendly, breakfast was good, and public transport was at most 5 walking minutes away.

A bit concerned about one of the coffee machines as steam was leaking out of it and it was dangerous, also the rooms need an update bathroom was not very good paint peeling off the door and generally needs updating

Decent enough hotel.

Decent enough hotel just a short drive from the Messe, where I was working for a week, and the centre of Cologne. There is a train station nearby too, though didn't seem to be any restaurants in walking distance which wasn't ideal after a long day/week working at the show when the hotel restaurant doesn't open on a Sunday.

The room was good and the view from the 6th floor would have been magnificent if not for the fog. My wife and I ae in our mid 60's Iwas a little surprized when they put us in a room on a floor that did not have elevator access. Our room was next to the elevator equipment, and there was something wrong with the elevator. Every time it started or stopped there was a loud groan from the machinery. Fortunately, people stopped using the elevator around midnight and we were able to sleep after that.

Am Empfang, so wie im Restaurant wird Kartenzahlung angeboten, obwohl man weiß, dass es nicht geht. Aufzug Boden durchgehend klebrig. Flur, wellnessbereich sehr dreckig. Personal am Empfang war nicht kompetent. Im Gegensatz im Restaurant war die Bedienung super. Essen war auch sehr gut. Leider wurde bisschen im frühen Stunden vorm Hotel auf dem Parkplatz gefeiert und getrunken.

Unzumutbare Zimmer im 6. Stockwerk

Ich hatte ein Zimmer im 6. Stockwerk, das scheinbar mit dem Lift nicht zu erreichen ist da dieser im 5. aufhört, was an sich kein Problem gewesen wäre. Im 6. Stockwerk sind dann ein paar wenige Zimmer, ich war im Zimmer 621, die scheinbar alle um die Motoren der Lifte angelegt sind, was bedeutete dass man immer sowohl von einer lauten Akkustik über jede Aktivität der Lifte informiert wurde, und auch das ganze Zimmer vibrierte aufgrund dieser Motoren da fast pausenlos liefen. Also in kurz, Zimmer im sechsten Stockwerk, absolut unzumutbar wegen Lärm und Vibrationen der Liftmotoren!

Hotellet er meget slidt. Saunaen var ikke særlig varm til man kan bruge det som sauna. Vi boede på øverste etage, men elevatoren kørte kun til etagen under. Så vi skulle op ad trapper med bagage det sidste stykke. Området omkring hotellet var lidt slum agtig, og ikke tæt på transport til centrum. Men det er lækkert at man kan benytte sig af poolen.
