  • Cascate del Diborrato - Parco fluviale dell'Elsa Inside the residential area of Colle Val d'Elsa is a historic and natural landscape of enormous value thanks to the Elsa River which crosses the Val d'Elsa creating a unique territory. The river creates enchanting corners for hiking and observing: the engineering works for gathering water, the artifical canal system for carrying the water to the city, the caves. A particularly suggestive point is the Diborrato water falls, a 15m jump which is more than 10m deep, a sort of small lake where the locals used to go to cool off. Other places not to miss are the Grotta dell'Orso, the Conchina, the Masso Bianco, the Nicchia and the Spianata dei Falchi, each with its own particularities. This natural richness has been recognized with the institution of a protected area in the River Park of the Upper Val d'Elsa which includes the path of the river from the city of Colle Val d'Elsa which stretches from Ponte Santa Giulia to Ponte di Spugna and includes the Caldane, thermal springs which were known to the Etruscans and Romans.

Nur gut für Ganztags-Ausflügler

Für uns hat dieses Hotel nicht gepasst: zwischen Frühstück (8:30 - 10:00) und Abendessen (ab 19:30) gab es nicht mal einen Kaffee in der Anlage. Unser Zimmer hatte keinen Tisch/ Schreibtisch und nur einen Stuhl - und war recht dunkel und nicht gut auszuleuchten. In der restlichen großen Hotelanlage konnte man aber auch keine Sitzgruppe oder Arbeitsraum finden, um mal etwas am PC zu machen. Die Rezeption was morgens und (manchmal) nachmittags geöffnet, dann konnte man zumindest Wein kaufen - Gläser gab es nicht. Das Restaurant war aber nett mit angemessenen Preisen. Der Pool schon zu kalt zum Baden.

Schöner Urlaub mitten in der Toskana

Gemütliches Hotel. Sehr ruhig gelegen mitten in der toskanischen Landschaft. Leckeres Frühstück und super Abendessen. Siena und weitere Ausflugsziele sind schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen.

Quiet and relaxing....

It was a lovely week...tranquil and restful in beautiful surroundings. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very good location for visiting many beautiful hilltop towns and villages.

Beautiful countryside agritourismo

A charming agritourismo in the heart of the gorgeous Tucson countryside. It is well located if you have a car, Colle Val D’este and Volterra are close by and well worth visiting. Book the dinner if you can it is hearty and delicious. The wine they make is good and reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our stay.

idylisches kleines gut für ferien auf dem bauernhof. guter ausgangspunkt zum erkunden der touristischen hot-spots. supernettes und hilfsbereites personal, hatten 2 zimmer gebucht dann aber ein großes appartment angeboten bekommen. ruhige und urspüngliche anlage.

We had a great time! The agriturismo is beautiful. It's close to Colle di Val d'Elsa, but out in the countryside - gorgeous views of the hills and fields. The room was very nice and comfortable, and the food at the restaurant is amazing. I would go back.
