Driving from Scotland down to York on Thursday night and I passed through the border town of Coldstream, home of the famous Coldstream Guards and also the place my mother hails from. The sun was just setting and the bad weather was rolling in, so I took the opportunity to stop and snap a few shots handheld.

Whole experience was first class, particularly notable was quality of food, the smell of the many wood burning fires and of course the spa area is one of the best I have ever been to.
