It was closed for the season. I paid extra for a guaranteed check-in. So someone is going to pay for my additional check-in at a different location.

Pros: The suite room was very nice and comfortable. Entrance area very inviting. Beds were comfortable. Tons of pillows. Decor was homey. Room with lamps around the edges for ambiance. For the price, this was above average. Text communication from the hotel was excellent. Cons: With a couple of the lamp bulbs out, it was too dark for my tastes. The motel was closed. This was not clear upon booking. Thus, when we pulled up to an empty office, snow filled parking lot, plywood over the entrance to the pool area and general signs of non-habitation, we worried we had been ripped off. A review of the texts showed that we needed to go to a separate building for our suite. When we clarified that and arrived at the proper destination, things were as above.

This place of rest is amazing ! This suite is so lovely and cozy . If I make it back here this is where I’ll stay. Petra was spot on and professional. The room was comfy and quiet.

The facility is a bit dated. Some Units are separate from main property. Parking for some units is on the public street. Does not offer a complimentary breakfast. It is close to many main local attractions.

We could not have picked a better spot!! So convenient!!! Clean and quiet!! We were able to walk to shops, restaurants and museums in just minutes. Our tour to Yellowstone picked us up and dropped us off just outside of our room. Would highly recommend staying here.

Really nice place. Older motel that has been renovated/updated. Really cute north woods type decor. Friendly and accommodating staff. Convenient location. Would definitely stay again when traveling through Cody.

I thought it was a lodge not a motel but it was clean, rooms and bathroom were small. The customer service was excellent just not what we were expecting and compared to the other hotels we stayed in across the country from Pa-OR and back again too expensive.

Can’t say enough good things about our stay at Moose Creek Lodge. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and clean. Property location is within walking distance of all the downtown bars and shops. I’d highly recommend Moose Creek!!
