Radisson Colon 2,000 Hotel & Casino
This property is next to the Colon 2000 mall and the cruise port. They provide baggage check and shuttle service to the port (which was not well publicized). Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

La Cubana Hotel & Residencial
Very limited - only had 1 bath towel and no hand towel or wash cloth? Not real clean and a few bugs. Staff did not speak English so that was a challenge. Location did make it easy to walk to stuff. Ok for price

New Washington Hotel
historic building that housed the officials overseeing the building of the canal. Apparently it is owned by the City of Colon which is missing opporunities to make this more appealing. Staff speak only Spanish (though electronic translation devices got us what we needed). Best choice, though, near ...

Hotel Sotelo
La Posada del Buzo
Was alone most of the time, only person running the restaurant was around. Good food. Not really good beach, hard rocks underfoot in water. Town doesn’t have much to say for itself. But if you want tropical quiet then this is the place.
