"We decided on this hotel because Expedia advertised it has a heated pool. It does not have a heated pool. Our bedroom floor was dirty as well. We had to brush off our feet at night before getting into bed. The patio around the pool was perfect to play cards and the staff was friendly. "

"Beautiful rooms full of history. Definitely 5 stars. My only complaints were not enough towels in our room for showers and we wished the coffee was available a little earlier than 8;30 but definitely a great experience staying there. "

"Laundry facility was clean & convenient. Hotel clean, staff pleasant & helpful. Bed was OK, clean but I could feel the springs in the mattress. BEST part of this property is proximity to the Angry German restaurant, food so delightful we had dinner there BOTH nights of our stay."

"Check in and staff were very nice. Hotel lobby was beautiful. Room was less than: had trouble opening the door several times and needed help 3 times, you could see the lock system was broken. The door to the room was filthy dirty. The bed thank goodness was nice, clean sheets, and good pillows. Internet connection was on and off unless you paid for more. The bath room needs a complete gut job. The floor of the room was dirty. Don't believe all the reviews. I received a call from the office that my phone cord was left. I asked to just mail it to me. They wanted me to send them a prepaid envelope and they would send it. How cheap. It is barely a 3 star and that is only because the staff was very nice and helpful. "

"This was an AMAZING hotel ! It’s not a bed and breakfast as it had stated on Google, but it was an Incredible hotel ! Staff was 10/10 and the place was so clean and welcoming … it felt like a family coming home to at night ! My husband was skeptical to stay because of the shared bathrooms (like a hostel) but he can’t wait to go back ! We never waited for anything and within 1 hour of arrival they already know you and will have coffee. Tea, coke, beer, treats for you and we can’t wait to go back ! "

"Front desk staff were courteous. Room was clean and comfortable. Clean towels were brought every morning. Shower curtain needs to be longer so water doesn’t flood the bathroom but plenty of hot water. Places to walk dogs. Pool looked nice but it was cold and we weren’t there on vacation. Met all our needs!"
