Comfortable and Friendly

Good price. Helpful and friendly staff. Was glad to have Air conditioning as the room had a skylight and was starting to get hot. It's quite a walk to old town but close to the hill with a food view of the city.

Very basic

I stayed there around one week for a conference. I asked them about laundry and they were really confused, they said they will get back to me during the week but never did. The beds and badrooms are old, the towels are bad quality and the wifi is really slow. The room was impecable clean on entrance but they did not do a very good job in the day to day cleaning. Good location if you go to the stadium or the grand hotel is booked and you have a conference/event there. Breakfast is really poor, it's only worth it because there's literally nothing else in 15 mins walk. It is very expensive for what it offers.

Das Zimmer war schön groß und sauber. W-Lan hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Die Klimaanlage hat das Zimmer schnell gekühlt. Es gab eine Karte mit den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten, die sehr hilfreich war. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte eine gute Auswahl und das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. In der Dusche fehlte leider eine Halterung für den Duschkopf, aber das war der einzige Minuspunkt.

Questo Hotel è stato scelto dal servizio clienti Silver visto che il mio hotel ha disdetto la disponibilità Last minute. Presentato come un Hotel di pari standard si è rivelata una pensione con scarso confort : bagno con doccia nella vasca senza tenda/cortina, odore sgradevole nel bagno proveniente dallo scarico, letto scomodo e nessuna facility (nemmeno ascensore per raggiungere il piano)..Visto che si trattava di un cambio forzato del quale non avevo responsabilità mi sarei aspettato da Hotels.com. una maggiore attenzione nella scelta del riposizionamento.

Cosy guesthouse

A cosy guesthouse in a very quiet neighbourhood! Not far from the city center and close to Somes river and the stadium. The reception was friendly and check in was fast. Internet was fast and fair breakfast in the morning. Good for transit and one or 2 days stay.

Quiet, clean and comfortable.

Lovely looking and unusual on the outside, in reception and dining room but rooms a little dull and plain. Helpful, friendly staff 24hrs a day. Very safe area and town, no problems walking about at night. Ten minutes walk from the river and park area with good restaurants, a little further into main town. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. The terrace area that comes with some rooms is shared with one other room and not well maintained or cleaned but fine for sitting outside in the morning or evening. Rooms don't come with a kettle but there is a hairdryer, bath/shower, TV and A/C. This small hotel is not a palace but it is nice, a little basic but that is fine, it has a bar to get drinks but it isn't like an open bar that is sat in. I would stay there again, if in town, and nowhere else. Good for a cheap stay, much better than a motel, quiet area, 24hr shop round the corner, bar/restaurant on the street corner but little else except homes. Just don't expect it to be plush or pristine just a lovely little hotel with nice staff.

Värt pengarna!

Jag fick fantastisk service av alla jag träffade, både receptionisterna samt frukost-& städpersonalen. Frukostbuffén var okej, ganska litet utbud men jag blev mätt iallafall. Rummet var rent och mysigt, sängarna lite hårda dock. Badrummet var också rent men det luktade avlopp, tror det var för att ingen hade använt vattnet i rören på länge.

Nice & affordable place

Deja Vu is 1,5 - 2 km away from the city center so we could walk there. Our room was very small, there was barely any place left besides the bed and luggage. Still, the other rooms were ok, although they were listed in the same price category. The pension staff was always trying to be nice and helpful.

Budget alternative

Low budget option a little outside central Cluj. Around 20 min walk to city centre. Room had low standard but ok for price. Family room with 2 separate bedroom and a private terrace was positive things. Staff very friendly and service minded. Breakfast included.

Good low-price accommondation

This hotel is cheap option. It is not luxury hotel, it is more like an house. The room was comfortable and breakfast was pretty good as well: toast, yogurt, cheece, 3 meat options, eggs, bacon, coffee. (Actually for this price-level the breakfast was really good!) Location is okay too, little walk to downtown but not too long. (Taxi is also super cheap, something like 2 euros from downtown to deja vu.) I was satiafied with this accommondation. If you are not looking for shiny fancy hotel, but something cheaper but still comfortable and nice, deja vu is good option. I would go again.

Good value in quiet area

Good price for this hotel, we had a double room with a big bathroom and large room, very well decorated, but the room of another friend was too small and basic decoration, so it depends on luck. The area is a bit too quiet and 15/20 min walk from the city, nice breakfast

Comfy room - we booked it because dogs are allowed. However, the 5 Euro surcharge per dog, per night was not mentioned on their expedia summary which seems a bit sneaky. We were informed of this only when we arrived, and this added 20 euro to our bill.

ok but disappointing

We got a room for a good price on expedia, maybe therefore they gave us one of their worse rooms. At first glance the room was warm and ok, but on the second look it was worn out and there were many defects especially in the bathroom. The fact that disappointed us most was, that in our 6 day stay, they only cleaned our room 1 time!! Maybe because in their eyes we payed to little, it's not the first time we experienced this behaviour! BUT - This should NOT be the way how guests should treated!!!!! It was also superficially cleaned so that most of the stains remained. They dind't refill soap or changed bedlinen. We went for toilett paper on our own. One night a spider was crawling between my legs...scaring. So do not expect much and it will be bearable.

Bring your wifi router

This hotel is hard to review. It is a strange place. Having read the reviews in advance our expectations were low but it was the same price of a hostel, so we took it. It is very weird that in 2012 they don't have wifi in the rooms, only hard wired ethernet! The decoration of the outside and downstairs is beautiful and modern. The rooms were OK as far as decoration, but without windows. As far as I could see from peaking at other rooms, no rooms have windows on the side, only a strange hard to reach ceiling window. There was a tiny TV placed in a corner at a low level, hard to watch if you lie in bed. There was a fridge. The smell of smoke unfortunately was everywhere. We asked for a king size bed as shown in expedia as an option but got two beds put together. The beds were good, not soft. The bathrooms were small and the faucett was falling out. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. The location is not central but 15 minutes by foot through a nice park to the center and 2 euros by taxi from the train station. Definitely a place that has potential if they only invested in a wifi router a TV stand and a chair with back support for those that want to work on the desk. We stayed 2 nights and didn't get the room cleaned, nobody knocked to clean it, perhaps because they knew I was there for a few hours in the afternoon.
