"The rooms and bathrooms were clean, modern, and spacious even in the basic king room. Service was spectacular. The valet was terrific. The beach service was also amazing. A definite pleasure to stay there. Breakfast that was included with the hotel stay was alsoi very complete."

"Desde afuera el lugar parecía prometedor, pero fue un desastre. Reservé una habitación con baño privado y nos dieron una habitación con el baño fuera y compartido.
Todo ocurrió en las primeras horas del check-in: el lugar estaba sucio, la cocina en pésimas condiciones, había bichos en la habitación, el baño era precario, con poca presión de agua y cerraduras que no funcionaban.
Lo peor fue que nos dieron toallas sucias, una con sangre y otra con aparentes desechos humanos. En recepción dijeron que “ya sabían que estaban así”. Inaceptable.
Nos fuimos el mismo día y no quisieron hacer ninguna devolución. El dueño nunca respondió y Expedia tuvo que intervenir. Tras varios días y llamadas, Expedia resolvió, pero no es algo que uno quiera vivir en vacaciones.
No lo recomiendo. Busquen otro lugar."

"This is a magical place. The staff and owner made us feel like family. Every detail is perfection from the design of the rooms, to the public spaces which are inviting. The park-like grounds are stunning with many little seating areas to escape to. The daily breakfast is delicious and dinner in the restaurant is first rate. It is a quiet, peaceful place and just a 10 minute walk to the beach. We would highly recommend this wonderful hotel and would stay again if we can make it back to Punta del Este. "
