Excited to stay here again. The check in was quick and efficient The staff was friendly. Last time we stayed here they had free s’more kits and frirepits but they did away with those. 🙁 but other than that it was a great stay!
I love the lodge . Restaurant staff was great. Front desk on Saturday was anything but freindly. That evening the check engine n was great ! Sunday morning great! Breakfast and ck out was very helpful and pleasant. Maybe Saturday day person was having a bad day.

Our stay at the Lodge was a lovely experience. We went to get away from the noise of fireworks and it was perfect. The hot tub was great after a long day and staff was friendly and helpful. The stairs to the 3rd floor were rough on the knees but overall our stay was nice. The weather was perfect and cool, it was great to get away from the heat of the desert. We will be back!
The property is clean and has this gorgeous old charming. Staffs are accommodating and respectful. I hope next time they will put hand soaps or bar soap for washing hands. Overall it was a great lodge. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The restaurant bar was amazing and great service by workers Charlie and his crew the front desk employees not so great no smiles no welcoming everyone that I met while on my stay they definitely need to be retrained the hotel is very appealing they should be more welcoming when guests arrive and have questions. Other then the front desk staff everything was amazing will go again will.
The common area of the lodge I liked. They had a nice mountain vibe and seemed clean. I ate once at the bar and that was quite tasty and the staff there was friendly.
The issue was with my room. Very stained carpet and wallpaper. And the room had an overwhelming musty or dusty quality to the air. Perhaps coming from the air conditioner? It was causing me serious breathing problems so I had to cut my 3 night stay to just 1 night. The staff was understanding of me needing to check out early due to this issue though and they did refund the 2 unused nights. I wanted to like this lodge, but it needs some renovation and deep cleaning in at least some of the rooms.
We love staying in historic inns and this one was nice. There were pictures and information about the history of the lodge. Our room was very large with beautiful mission furniture. We were provided with bottled water. The bathroom was adequate, but there was very little water pressure. Our room had two windows. One looked into a storage area with some pots and other junk. That was disappointing. The other window looked out to the pool. The pool is very small but looked clean. We did not go in. The restaurant was closed. Only the bar was open, but it had very limited choices of food. The front porch is filled with nice chairs and tables. It was a great place to sit and relax. The porch overlooks the pond& fountain with the mountains off in the distance. The staff was very friendly.
This property reminds me so much of the KY State lodges (where I am from), especially the Cumberland Falls resort. Built around the same time, had major fires at around the same time
, etc. Cloudcroft is absolutely beautiful, so much history to enjoy, along with the cooler weather. I absolutely loved this hotel, it’s beautiful, it’s old, the restaurant is amazing, and the staff is amazing. Friendly, helpful, this place is a treasure!
Everything was beautiful! The historic, antique charm of the hotel made it feel like Christmas in June. We were a little disappointed that the mini-split AC didn’t work very well during the day, so our room never got very cold, although it cooled down nicely at night. Other than that, we had no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Historical Hotel in a beautiful location. The sunset views from the tower were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very nicely decorated and clean. We were planning to stay one night, but stayed a second night!!!

Liked: Staff & service
The staff is wonderful and helpful especially in the bar and restaurant. The rooms need some upgrading. I love the “old” look and feel but worn carpet and patched padded wall coverings needed replaced. With no elevator a 3rd floor stay is difficult with the number of stairs and jig altitude.
Front Desk staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself was gorgeous and clean. There was soo much to look at in hotel. The room was clean, cute, big, the bed was super comfy, and the heated floors in bathroom were cool.
