This is such a a cute place, room is very clean, super easy check in, we rode to the Marina and ate super and looked out at the River. We spent the night on our way to Nashville and glad we did. There is a full size coffee pot in our room, we will have plenty of coffee in the morning..dollar general down the road.. comfortable bed, nothing but good things about this place.

Naomi was super lovely, welcoming, and accommodating. The room was exactly what I expected and needed. I loved sitting in the rocking chair outside my room and watching the thunderstorm roll in. The Bear Inn Retreat is a real treat x

Family cabin

My family and I stayed in there family cabin for 2nights it was comfortable and there staff is very accommodating and friendly! The cabins are more like tiny homes or an eagle building. We will most definitely be coming back for a longer stay.

I was not expecting this place to be as nice as it is. It’s like a small apartment loved that it has a microwave refrigerator and a coffee pot. The room was very clean and cool considering how hot it was upon my arrival. The outside area was very clean as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Great accomodations!

Great for our family. We stayed in a cabin and it was very comfortable for our four person family. There was a loud dog barking at the cabin next door fairly early in the morning, which was less than ideal. Otherwise, a great stay!

My husband and I were in Clifton for our son’s golf tournament, and so that’s why we needed a place to stay. The owners are incredibly kind and accommodating and the room was extremely clean! I was pleasantly surprised! I’ve been in “nice” hotels that haven’t been this clean! There’s not really anything to do in the area… not many choices as far as restaurants… but if you need a place to stay, I recommend The Bear Inn for sure.

We stayed in cabin #2 parking is right beside the cabin which makes loading/unloading easy. The cabin was clean and updated, with a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom does not have a bathtub but the shower is nice. There's a nice front porch and even better a back deck with a creek view. The water sounds were nice and relaxing even though it was cold (visited in February) The hosts were kind and accommodating.

With this property i loved the parking, you can get right up to the door for your room. On top of that every room I've stayed at here so far has had a ceiling fan, enough lighting for the entire area, and a perfectly functioning air condition. The staff are kind and easy to talk to and if you need anything they are never upset by it. Every time I've been here the room has smelled absolutely amazing, and the sheets have been soft and clearly recently laundered, and the decor is homie and perfect. They do not have restaurants within 30 minutes of the inn, and if you're there for a long stay I would recommend stopping at one of the Dollar stores for food items. (There is a fridge and a microwave, keep that in mind when getting food)

Very nice property, very clean, wish they cleaned the rooms during your stay. They dont go in and clean your room during your stay, or at least they didn't for our 5 day stay. You can request a cleaning, but we often weren't there during their office hours. I understand that a lot of people may prefer to not have anyone go in without them requesting it. They also charge $2 f9r a bag of ice, but were always out of ice. Everything else was very good and we'd definitely stay here again and likely will.

The Best Ever

This place is the most relaxing enjoyable place to be. If you are looking for a friendly welcome and a great bed to sleep in,let alone a couple of porches to relax on, then this is the place. If you are a dog owner and don't want to be having them weighed or judged, then this is the place. If you need to do some laundry, ask for towels or bedding, this is the place. The owners and staff here are so accommodating and very informative. This is the place to be. Enjoy your time and enjoy the love you get here.
