「It was an absolute delight to stay with Nathalie and Olivier who have lovingly restored the Chateau. They were charming hosts and made the stay one to remember. The renovation of the chateau provides a modern and spacious room that has also retained the charm of the old building. The meals were delightful and prepared by the hosts using fresh local produce. I'd thoroughly recommend Malis Castera to anyone wanting to stay in the wine region.」

「This is a rustic, two bedroom cottage property about a 35 minute walk (uphill!) to St Emilion old town. Located in the the vineyards, it's fine if you have a bicycle or similar. It's only 5 mins by car but then you have parking to deal with in the town. It's on a slightly dusty track to don't arrive in heels or immaculate white clothing. Warmly welcomed by Hassan, his wife and daughter, I was shown the shared downstairs area and my room. They do not live on the property. No elevator...

「This B&B can only be reached by car. The room is clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful. They do not provide dinner but they will introduce the restaurants nearby. They own a vineyard. Guests are free to visit. They have a wine tasting session at 7 pm. The staff there explained their wine production in details. The wines are good. We have bought a few bottles from them. The breakfast was great. Surely will visit there again if we go to Bordeaux.」

「I booked thru Expedia. It was listed as a hotel. It is a bnb. There was zero info on the door to know that I was in the right place. Expedia called 3 times with no answer. The hostess was an hour late in opening the room. No amenities available. The view is amazing. Everything else was extremely difficult. We had to wait for hours to get in. No parking near by. A total night wrecker!」
