Beautiful old mansion, thoughtfully refurbished in a neighborhood undergoing restoration. Very conveniently located close to the theater district & wonderful dining. Would highly recommend.

What a great experience we had with our stay at Stone Gables Inn. A lovely historic place with an old time boutique feel. Slept like a baby on this very comfortable bed along with the peace and quit of the neighborhood. Enjoyed a dinner at a nearby restaurant. Craig was quick to respond to any questions we had. Can’t wait to stay again next time we visit.

the uniqueness of this B&B is there was no staff at house plus no breakfast at this bed and breakfast. They should call this place a bed. Hospitality is not a text of the keycodes. We were strangers in a strange land.

Paul, I’m sorry your expectations were not met. We have gone to great lengths to avoid this confusion by posting in several places on all of our booking platforms that we do NOT serve breakfast and do NOT have staff on site. We also repeat those messages in the reservation confirmation that you receive when you book and in the check in instructions that we send out the morning of your arrival. It is imperative that you read any and all communications sent to you to avoid this situation.

Very clean and welcoming, never seen or encountered any staff on site. Jets in bathtubs made a terrible sound when turned on. But other than that an overall good experience

This inn is peaceful and unique, and the room is very comfortable. The neighborhood has many interesting businesses to visit that are walkable. I will definitely stay here again.

Almost perfect
This is a cute hotel. Cute in a very good way. It's not overly large, but it feels homey and comfortable. Everything was as advertised. It was easy to access. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was very clean. My only negative comment is that it was difficult to regulate the temperature in the room. It was a little too chilly or little too warm and I couldn't get the temperature just right. Still, when I go back I will stay here.

We wish we could provide precise temperature control for each room but given the age of the house we have to make do with the central air system that was installed. We provide extra blankets and space heaters to make up the difference because we know how important it is for the room temperature to be just right!

Excellent choice
Great stay! The inn in is in a lovely neighborhood with lots of restaurants, shops, breweries and coffee shops in walking distance. Secured parking on site. Very nice room, large and well appointed. The common area is very nice as well. Looking forward to a return visit.

Franklin Room worked out perfectly for 5 people. Super quiet. 5 minutes to flats, downtown, restaurants. Would definitely stay here again

Great overnight stay
This is a beautiful house and it provided wonderful accomodations for a 1 day stay in Cleveland. There was much more common space available for use than we had imagined. Depending on how you drive one can drive through some neighborhoods that seem a bit sketchy. In point of fact the neighborhood around the house seemed to us perfectly fine and just for security there is a security fence around the back of the building and parking area. If you have time, take a walk in the neighborhood and see some really truly beautiful houses. And if you happen to be a Browns fan, the stadium is really close.

A relaxing stop in Cleveland!
Our stay was absolutely amazing! Though just one night the house was clean, well kept and our room was just perfect- just enough furniture and the bed was super comfortable. Owners were very detailed in check in and check out and had plenty of good recommendations on things to do in Cleveland OH!

A West Cleveland gem
We were exploring Cleveland and this was the perfect spot as our base. The historic home was amazing architecturally, and the street it’s on is beautiful, tree-lined, and dotted with other historic homes. There are many nearby restaurants, and the downtown area of Ohio City is a slightly longer walk, but well worth it. Connie was helpful with suggestions about local places to check out, as well as being an attentive and thoughtful host.

Overall the stay was nice. Loved the history of the building and the location. Only complaint was the noise of construction at the time of stay during the mourning. Seems like the city was doing a lot of upgrades to the side wall and roads in the area. Would stay there again.

Just ok. It's like a bed & breakfast with no breakfast. Room was kind of weird. No way to work unless you go down to a common area (there's just a bed) and not much room for clothes or luggage. Bed was super soft. Might be good for some people, but not for me.

New Years Weekend Getaway
After a couple of glitches initially, that the owner resolved, it was a good stay. We were on the top floor so it was a little warm. The rooms were very charming with a lot of history.

I travel to Cleveland often for work and struggle to find a comfortable and safe to stay but this was both. The security was great and it was so nice to have parking on site and included in the cost which was reasonable. The bed in the Clary room is really comfortable and the host was available whenever we needed her. Would stay again and recommend.

Wow! Lovely apartment. We were given the opportunity to upgrade from a room at the inn to an attached apartment. Just what we needed on our trek across the mid west! CLEAN! In perfect condition and the bed was heaven! So far our best stay on our journey!!! Thank you Connie!!!

The 11:00 curfew for noise was not enforced. I loud party continued until 4:00 am. It was a sleepless night. Response from management polite but took no responsibility. A refund should have been offered. The neighborhood is rough but in transition.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. We sleep on that side of the building and did not hear anything. We asked the guests who stayed next door to you and they did not hear a party either. We take this very seriously and if we has been called we would have addressed your concerns immediately. As for the neighborhood, it has many historic neighborhood with many Victorian homes. Many have been renovated and more are being renovated all the time. We are also within walking distance to many breweries and high end restaurants.

I accidentally booked our reservation for a day earlier than we needed, I only realised the next day and contacted Connie by text who happily moved our booking which was great of her. Checking in and check out is contactless, you won't meet anyone which was ok for us ws we had a few big days of driving. The area surrounding appears a little rundown but we drove everywhere. The rooms were well decorated and comfortable. We would stay again.
