Great location, and plenty of surrounding overnight garages you can park without paying $39/night to the hotel valet. With that said, it's an old building that desperately needs updating on facilities (elevators were sketchy) and decor. They are likely understaffed (like anywhere these days) and while I am mindful of that, as a guest I cringed at how dirty the dining area carpet and stairs were, was afraid to take off my shoes inside the room with hardwood floors, annoyed with the overnight front desk staff who clearly did not want to be there, and irritated that they lacked some of the basic in-room amenities because their "orders hadn't come in yet."
You get what you pay for, and if you keep that in mind it's tolerable. I would not stay multiple nights though.
