Uber driver told us that this is a bad neighborhood of Cleveland and not to go out at night- so that’s how our trip started. The building smells like marijuana even in the non smoking building. Cluttered and small front lobby, burn holes in the blankets, no microwave, no hairdryer, iron, usb outlets. Lamp shades broken. Fan/air in room sounds like it's about to break, electrical outlet behind the headboard in between the posts, that looks like an electrical/fire hazard. Bed is uncomfortable/hard. Front office staff was rude to my husband when he asked for an extra pillow at 6pm, apparently housekeeping locks them up and the managers don't have a key? I call BS. The following day the lady was much nicer, and told me housekeeping leaves at 2, so the following day I caught the house keeper in the hallway asking for an extra pillow (I have a torn hip labrum so this helps me sleep) and she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about and then made it seem like it was going to take an act of God to get me one. After telling me she would bring one by the room- she never showed.
However, for the most part it's clean, so not terrible for 60$ a night. However I won't be staying here again if we come back to Cleveland.
