The size of the suite and the building were fantastic. Since they usually do not rent out single rooms there was no evening catering although breakfast was provided and was very good.
Was our first time at Clevedon Hall. We
had a wonderful stay. We’ve never stayed
in such a beautiful place. We can’t wait
to go back. Would totally recommend
it. The staff were so helpful. Can’t
say enough good things. Thank you Clevedon.
Fabulous place, beautiful building set in fantastic grounds. Comfortable beds, spacious well appointed rooms. Friendly helpful staff.
Plenty of parking and well located. A couple of restaurants are within easy walking distance too. (The restaurant is not open in the evening, only for breakfast)
A beautiful building, room and grounds. Exceptionally palatial. Unfortunately our one night stay for our wedding anniversary was tainted by the farcical breakfast experience. There were only seven tables with approximately twelve guests to be served by two waitresses. The wrong order was brought, there was 10.minutes between my food and my wifes food arriving. The waitresses asked the same questions separately, no serving spoon in the fruit salad, no salt or pepper on the table. The food was lukewarm. A very poor experience for such an expensive stay. A great pity as this venue had been chosen carefully to make our first wedding anniversary very special.
Beautiful venue & rooms. The interior was full of gorgeous period detail. Bedroom & bathroom very luxurious. They are a venue rather than a hotel so it's rare to be able to book. Lovely staff & very accommodating although breakfast service was a bit uncoordinated. Will definitely try to book again.
Ueberwältigendes Schloss!!! Inneneinrichtung hervorragend, sehr stylvoll. Viel aus vergangener Zeit aber super erhalten. Man fühlt sich wie 100 Jahre zurückversetzt... aber überaus positiv. Frühstück hervorragend, sehr nettes Personal... immer gerne wieder! Sehr zu empfehlen! Preis/Leistung sehr gut.
Clevedon Hall is an absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room we stayed in was exquisite and extremely spacious. The room was immaculately clean, not a speck of dust to be found!
A stunning hotel, in beautiful grounds and a convenient position. Our room was huge, beautifully decorated, lots of lovely little touches. We also had a dressing room and large bathroom with a huge walk in shower and a little surprise - a heated toilet seat! The bed was probably the largest I have ever slept in, so comfortable, with lots of pillows. Breakfast was good quality, with lots of choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a touch of luxury. We will be back!
Great experience at a very nice location. Loved the gardens, wish I had more time to explore and enjoy. Also, it is a beautiful property!
Very nice staff.
As far as I know only breakfast is served, at least dinner was not available. Great suggestions for restaurants nearby to compensate. Breakfast was good, much better quality than other 4* hotels.
Rooms were renovated and modernised enough. Things like power sockets near the bed were available to charge phone/laptop. Bathroom was also renovated but still had a very classic feel to it, loved the Japanese style toilets.
Some minor quivers with the bedroom. Curtains were old, not all rings were there and it was difficult to open and close. Bathroom shower head seemed like it wasn't used for a long time and was full of limescale inside that made the water go everywhere (just pressing with my fingers was enough to clean it). Also, probably because the property is quite old, outside noises like wind were quite intense and disturbing.
The house is beautiful. Old yet well decorated and modern touches in the bathrooms. All staff are really helpful and nice. Three resident deer on the lawn. Had a really good night's sleep followed by a very gòod breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a night away. The sea front is just over the road and the pier is Worth a stroll down. We had evening meal at the pub over the road. Well prices good tasty food.
We stayed as a family in Cleveland Hall for one night It was outstanding in all areas and I would highly recommend it to others. Rooms are immaculate, staff extremely helpful and the grounds are superb. We even saw 2 fawn as we left.
L'hotel est tout simplement magnifique. Les chambres sont tres spacieux avec une salle de Bain de reves. Proprete exemplaire. Petit dejeneur (buffet) service dans un cadre superbe et de tres bon qualite.
A refaire sans hesitation
Lovely hotel with very polite staff. Luxurious and self pampering. Good choice of breakfasts. And lovely to see the deer in the garden in the morning.
Loved it. Even my 7yr old son's first thought was "Wow mummy this hotel is beautiful ". That says it all
