Lovely grounds, fantastic massage and great food.
Thought the spa facilities could have been bigger. A 30 min delay waiting for my massage with no apology or acknowledgement of the delay.
Rooms comfy but basic.
The facilities were very good and the staff we encountered were all great. It was busy at times in the spa, with just enough space to be relaxing. We enjoyed our morning visit to the spa more than the afternoon. Nearby Frinton beach and high street was worth a visit.
Absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!
staff were amazing spa treatment area girls were amazing, a massive thank you to them THANK YOU !!!!!! Amazing!!
The restaurant staff were amazing
The food was almost Michelin star and I would highly recommend this resort.
The whole experience for us as a couple was five stars and I will be going back shortly

We stayed at the Lifehouse for 2 nights. The grounds, although a little tired from this summer's drought, are spectacular, with plenty of quiet space to walk among trees and around the beautiful lily pond etc. Sadly the outside of the buildings range from unpreposessing to downright ugly, perhaps similar to a medical facility.
Food both at dinner and breakfast, is consistently above average. Most staff are pleasant and helpful.
The hotel buildings are something of a maze so moving between room and public areas can be somewhat challenging.
The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Unfortunately the furniture both in rooms and the restaurant and bar are functional but substandard for a 4 star hotel. More akin to something from a Premier Inn. Decent tablecloths in the dining room would disguise this. However, the ambiance in the restaurant requires more than tablecloths to make it welcoming and aesthetically pleasing to match the standard, and price, of food. This definitely detracted from the dining experience.
Outside area of bar also had basic furniture.
The drinks we had were all good... Decent wines, beers and ciders.
Spa areas were busy. We did not use these facilities.
This hotel has much to offer, but requires some attention to make it worth another visit and it's four star rating.
Clean room and spa, nice staff bar and reception, beautiful gardens. Was booked last minute as we were unable to travel home and stayed the next day for the spa. Would 100% come again :)
We had a wonderful stay. From the moment we checked in the staff were very accommodating. Our room was perfect for what we needed. We enjoyed a couples massage at the spa which was superb. We then relaxed with room service. A wonderful stay and will definitely return.

We had agreat time at lifehouse spa.treatments and food and drink were reasonably priced. Food and drink were very good with plenty of choice..
Amazing stay, staff we really helpful! I proposed to my then girlfriend, and the staff were super helpful in making it so special. The spa facilities are also lovely.
We both had a fabulous time. Loved the pool area. The gardens are beautiful- will have to return in the Summer next time. We only ate breakfast there but there was plenty of choice.
Lovely quiet and massive grounds covered in nature and very well kept, the accomodations were lovely and everything whilst on the higher end price wise was worth every penny. Would happily return. Some of the staff really set the hotel apart by being more accomodating than most
