An ideal place to come and relax - far enough off the beaten track to be calm and secluded, but with great access to rainforest and beaches, and also a good base for exploring Corcovado.
The hotel is recently built, and very modern, in an understated/classy way. Villas have a whole wall of windows and an enormous balcony, so made it easy to watch the morning routine of the toucans.
Service was discrete, but attentive - Rebecca, Christina, William & Jerson all took great care of us - as well as the drivers, chefs and security staff. Menu was limited, but the food was tasty and good quality.
Most toiletries and amenities were provided, although it would have been useful to have some slippers or pool shoes (seems the lack of these is not uncommon in CR - partly for environmental reasons - just wish I'd packed mine & not assumed they'd be supplied).
We would have liked a bit of information in the rooms (unusually there was nothing) - this seems to be a policy, but personally I like to read information at my leisure, not always have to ask.
But these are very minor things, and overall we really enjoyed our time there & were sad to leave.
Keep up the good work! :-)
