De Vere Cotswold Water Park

"Our room was a ground floor Deluxe room lake view with balcony as we took our dog with us. The balconies to these rooms are not individual to each room, it is a wrap around walkway, which is lovely, but not secure if you take a dog. There is no air conditioning in the rooms only a fan was provided. Room was spotlessly clean, bed was extremely comfortable. View from the room was very beautiful and tranquil. Staff very obliging and attentive. We had an evening meal in The Boat House, and was allowed to take our dog. You will be seated in area with no view of the lake, the view you will have is of the car park if you take a dog with you. This area is en route to the toilets too. Food and service was very good. A 10% service charge was automatically added to the bill. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Bar - service was very good. It was very busy due to the football and people attending conferences, but service was quick at the bar and it was a good atmosphere. Our dog was allowed in the bar with us. The hotel was very busy, as it has a large conference Centre attached to it. The grounds of the hotel were well looked after. Parking - had to park on one of the further car parks which was about a 5 minute walk away. You can drop off and pick up outside of the reception to save struggling with luggage. I would definitely come and stay at this hotel again."

"Well positioned a short way up a small hill. Nice tasty meals. However the outside of the shower tray needed a deep clean and our room only had a skylight window which resulted in it being very warm, even at night, in the high temperatures."

"A really lovely hotel and the staff were all so friendly and attentive through our stay We did a spa morning whilst there and the massage was really good Also the restaurant was great with delicious food and a great setting especially sitting outside in the nice weather"

"Stayed for 2 nights, loverly room. Staff very welcoming on arrival. Staff in the pub were very welcoming and friendly, food was excellent with good menu ragging for bar meal to dining room. Would I stay there again, Definitely YEs"

"Very dog friendly stay, dog allowed everywhere. Excellent crockery pitch across the small bridge for dog exercise and poo bin by entrance to hotel. Breakfast was great, though no cereal which was odd. Rooms well equipped, kettle and nespresso coffee maker, plus both still and sparkling water with fresh milk in the pantry (where there are also top ups of tea, coffee and water plus ice). Second time here and we'll be back again"
