Conveniently located about 20 minutes away from the airport by taxi or 40 minutes by bus. Stayed overnight before my connecting journey. Didn't have much time to explore the facility or the surrounding, it was short and comfortable experience overall.

Nice hotel in a good location in the city, opposite a beautiful park. Breakfast in the hotel was brilliant. Really appreciated getting a bottle of complimentary drinking water every day.

The stay was excellent. The service, breakfast and the friendliness and helpfulness of the workers are on the high level. The location is nicely connected to the center. The only drawback of the location is the highway nearby.

I booked this hotel due to the good reviews but my experience was different. The girl working the front desk spoke very limited English, which I am completely fine with, but she chose not to engage with our translator app. We showed her the name of Milestii Mici winery, the Guinness Book of World Records winning winery, and she shook her head that she didn't know it. We were hoping to have her help us call a taxi. There was a leak in the lobby. The breakfast did not taste as good as it looked and we had to wait for a table due to the small dining area. The coffee made at the bar for free was wonderful. The bed was comfortable.

Good room and breakfast. Dinner was more limited but adequate. The park across the street was very nice and family friendly. Taxi to the airport was punctual. The ride took 15 minutes and cost 91 Lei - about $5.

Hotel mit gutem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis in guter Lage. Die Zimmer sind sauber, großzügig und sinnvoll möbliert. Die Küche ist gut, das Frühstück ein wenig einseitig und leider für den Drink vorm Schlafengehen fehlt die Hotelbar. Für mich wirklich störend war, im Zimmer habe ich kein Fenster zum Öffnen gefunden. Insgesamt kann man das Hotel empfehlen, besonders auch wegen des freundlichen Personals.

Wonderful staff, dinner and breakfast.

Awesome service and wonderful food. The room and furniture were dated--but I had reserved the cheapest selection. The rest of the hotel was modern and the staff, service, and food were amazing.

Svært god service, men lyver om egne fasiliteter

Jeg ble møtt i resepsjonen med veldig god service. Da jeg hadde blitt frastjålet min iPhone dagen før, og ikke hadde med Mac på reisen, var jeg helt avhengig av å låne en en datamaskin eller og mobil i resepsjonen. Den kvinnelige resepsjonisten lot meg låne hennes mobil og resepsjonens PC for eget bruk. Med unntak av to flyvertinner så jeg ingen andre gjester ved hotellet. Hotellrommet mitt var ekstremt lite. Standarden på hotellet generelt var helt ok, og passer til beskrivelsen av et trestjerners hotell. Beliggenheten var ikke den beste. Det tok minst 30 minutter å gå til sentrum av Kisjinov. For øvrig vil jeg nevne at hotellet lyver om sine fasiliteter. Det står blant annet at det er skimuligheter utenfor hotellet. Hotellet lå i en traffikert gate i Kisjinov i Moldova, så langt unna langrenn eller alpin du kan komme på denne jord. Og jeg var der i februar, som i Europa er midt i skisesongen. Dessuten skryter hotellet på seg flere nattklubber. Dette så ikke jeg noe som helst til.

Long weekend hotel

Hotel Jumbo was a great hotel/location for a long weekend in Chisinau. Close to multiple great restaurants and a park; walking distance to the center. We had half pension booked but breakfast would have been sufficient; dinner half pension menu okay but with no option of selecting the wine I want/too much options close by to limit our nice Moldova experience.

The hotel was a little far from the area I expected to be you can't just walk to the main street but you have to use transportation also there was a couple of things I told the reception about the TV issue and the shower was leaking water from the side wall and there was no shampoo in the dispenser so I wasn't too happy about that visit unfortunately so I won't be booking that hotel anymore

very good hotel between AirPort and Chisinau cente

The staff is very correct. Check in was OK and the service during dinner and breakfast was very helpfull. Breakfast was very complete and good coffee. One of the members of our group has visited a lot of hotels in Russia, Ukraine and Baltic States but never had a hotel like this. The rooms are from different sizes so when you go with a group not everyone will have the same size of room. Part of the hotel has rumour of the trafiic outside because the hotel is situated on a busy road. So it is not always possible to sleep with open window. The airco in our room was very good and the bathroom was clean and modern. They cleaned the room every day and every time clean towels. When you order a taxi they order one in a short time and you can arrange a fixed price f.i. if you want to go to the Airport. It is not a very cheap hotel but its price worth. And you want to run or have a walk: a great park on the other side of the road.

Not a 4 star hotel

Said it was a 4 star hotel so we expected much better. This was more along a 2 star in the US. One of the gentlemen at the front desk was never helpful at all and generally seemed put out by any request. The fridge in the room didn't work and there are no ice machines so we had to go to the bar if they were open to get ice so we could have cold drinks (apparently not a thing over there). Pretty disappointed overall. Room was ok at least it was pretty clean but a bit shabby. AC didn't work very well (again not a thing over there).
