The owners are nice and accommodated us with our pooch, the property is unique and well worth checking out, rooms are very good. Make sure you call and speak to the owners to confirm your requirements, don't rely on wotif to get it right because they wont. I will recommend the place to friend's and family.

My girlfriend and I had an absolutely splendid time at the Laurels. The accomodation is full of charm and highly affordable. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Needed a short getaway and The Laurels come highly recommend by a friend. Our room was comfortable and clean. The surroundings very unique. Loved walking around the grounds. The staff very obliging, even an open umbrella waiting at our door to walk to breakfast in the rain. Felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay.

The property make you feel that your back in time, with use off artifacts from previous year's and reuse off them. Substantially is the word I would use. LOVED IT.

Hidden Gem in Chinchilla
Nice comfortable rooms, very rustic made with heaps of reclaimed materials. Was very cool. Was an amazing little table down by the river to sit at and have a drink. Mosquitos were thick but were surprised to see the rooms had mosquito coils supplied free to use outside. Little bit of highway noise faint in the background when outside but not an issue from inside from the room we were in. Rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable. It was very hot and our aircon worked really hard to keep the room cool. Would definitely stay again.

River Cottage Is Always a Slice of Heaven
We always love our long weekend getaways from the City to the gorgeous River Cottage at Laurels of Chinchilla. Can’t wait to be back again soon. Hospitality always exceptional and one of my favourite things is the beautiful bed!! I catch up on a lot of sleep and feels like home away from home.

Laurels of Chinchilla was really great. The welcome we received was so friendly, our little cottage was gorgeous and managed to be rustic but have really modern facilities at the same time. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Stunning B&B with beautiful warm hosts. We stayed in cabin over looking the water. Birds everywhere. The sunrise was spectacular Shara cooked us dinner so we did not need to leave the cosy fire Greg had lit. Definitely a return longer stay on our agenda

Love this place. Stayed in Log River cabin and enjoyed the whole experience. Manager very helpful and accommodating on arrival - couldn’t have been more helpful. The cabin has been set up very well with a rustic yet very comfortable decor. Recommended.

The property was not like other B&Bs as it had seperate quaint cottage accommodation with cosy rustic feeling. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very enjoyable. A great place for one night or an extended stay.

The design and structure of the colonial style of the cabins take you back in time before all the uncertainly in the world. The whole down to earth effect from the outstanding and friendlies of the owners from the initial greeting upon arrival. To the pleasantness they display makes you feel right at home. Will defiantly be returning to this place again. We regularly visit our Daughter and her family whom we can't stay with as we prefer our own space, so have decided to make this accommodation our home away from home. I would give a rating of 5 stars and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Chinchilla whether for overnight or an extended stay look into the Laurels for hospitality.

Loved the quirkiness of this accommodation. The bed was super comfy, the shower was hot and although situated on the highway there was no traffic noise once the doors were closed. Can’t wait to go back.

Peaceful Retreat
We have now stayed at The Laurels 4 times and can't get enough of this beautifully maintained property. The peace and tranquillity is the main reason for our stay over and over. We had a lovely Easter escape from the world and the bathtub by the creek under the stars with a fire pit next to it is an experience everyone should have at least once. Completely recommend this property to anyone looking for time out from the big smoke and enjoy a few hour drive as part of the journey to this fabulous destination.

Beautiful B&B: our regular stop-over
We’ve stayed at the Laurels a couple of times now and each time the hosts have been welcoming and friendly. Laid back and casual in a serene setting, so welcoming of us travelling with a baby (now toddler). This has become our regular stop-over and it’s become as much a looked-forward-to part of our holidays as the holiday itself! This is where unwinding begins.
