I've lodged a complaint with INGUAT (the Guatemalan tourism department) and learned that this hotel IS NOT A LICENSED HOTEL and DOES NOT HAVE THE PERMITS TO OPERATE AS A HOTEL IN ANTIGUA. "This property does not communicate. They say they offer airport shuttle service, but you cannot coonect with the to book it. They do not respond to messages through Expedia Help, and they do not answer the phone on Expedia help. They have a limited window to check in. They obviouslu have no interest in guest service!"

"We arrived on the day of our booking and the manager of the hotel told us that they don't work with Expedia. I had a text and email confirmation of our booking and he told us that does not matter. He told us his hostel was completely full and did not care to help us at all. They also advertise as having free parking, and when we arrived he told us the hostel does not provide parking. Very bad customer service, completely unorganized and not helpful."
