Property is definitely dog friendly which we liked. The areas around the cabin were kept pretty clean. The main problem is that the shop opened late and closed early, so when we had a problem where our wi-fi passcode expired after our first night, we were stuck without wi-fi so our kids couldn't do their school work. The shop closed at 5p and the passcode they provided expired before 5:30p. Left a voicemail around 5:30p, but they didn't get back to me until we decided to check out a day early and was already on the road around 11a. If you don't need wi-fi or cell service then you would be fine. Also, our sat TV in the cabin didn't work so we couldn't watch that either. Luckily we brought cards so we played that to pass the time, but since this was spring break and our kids had homework, we had to leave a day early to give them back time to do their homework.

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay, as most of our guests do. Our store is only open 10am to 5pm during our slow season because we do not get enough business to pay staff during the winter/early spring months. "Spring Break" is a little different here than if you were visiting somewhere southern, so we are not busy at this time of year. I am not sure how your wifi password expired, so I will be looking into that. We do have issues with wifi and the satellite TV from time to time, since we are so remote and it's basically impossible to have consistent services as such. It is very frustrating for us to get negative reviews on things that we cannot control because of where we are located, but it is also a good reminder for people to be prepared when visiting and travelling to remote locations in the mountains.
Enjoyed the one night stay and room was close to crater lake NP. Room comes with full kitchen and the Indian themed interior design was also unique.

Could have been perfect if heater was quiet
The only issue was the heater is too noisy. The view of the site is great!

What a gem
Crater Lake Resort was such a gem! The property was overall clean & we loved our cute little cabin. We really enjoyed the amenities provided at the resort including a canoe, a small walking trail, corn hole, horseshoes, plus grills & fire pits. We had such a relaxing stay here & enjoyed the close proximity to Crater Lake.

Thank you for your feedback. Our guests are always welcome to ask for more blankets. I apologize if no one was around to get you any. As far as the mosquitoes go, we try our best to spray the property, but is impossible to keep them all at bay. We hope to see you again.

When leaving a 1 star review it would be nice if you could also provide some feedback on how we could improve or what issues you came across. Leaving a review like this, without explanation, feels like you actually didn't have a reason.

Well maintained property
All was great except the glamping tent had crunchy pillows and I don’t do well on air mattresses. The yurt was perfect. Gorgeous sunrise.

Thank you for your feedback. The mattresses in our glamping tents are regular mattresses, not air mattresses, and are fairly new. We are sorry to hear that you were not comfortable.
Super clean property, gorgeous creek that runs through the middle, lovely accommodations.
Some things to consider- our cabin had low ceilings, and the beds were not the best- felt like a trampoline every time my husband moved. Besides that, the cabin was super clean, had great amenities, the property was very quiet, and it felt very safe. Enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for your review. We are under new ownership (as of January) and we purchased brand new mattresses for every cabin!
Ad promised both wifi and a television when neither was actually available. I would NOT have stayed here if I knew the truth. When I asked for assistance with their non working amenities I was met with both anger and rudeness from staff. For the price paid I felt completely overcharged. I do not recommend this place for anyone.

I am sorry that you had a poor experience. It is extremely difficult to have consistent satellite and wifi in a location such as ours. It is very frustrating for us to receive negative reviews on things that we cannot control. Although, since your stay, we have been working diligently to try and get a new system installed to help with the issue. I am sorry that you had a negative interaction with a staff member. That specific staff member is no longer working for us.
We stayed in quaint little cabins that were just perfect, and incredibly clean. The deck overlooked a little stream (that we canoed in with the free canoe), and the office/store was nicely stocked with snacks, food, and refreshments. The staff was very friendly. It is a beautiful, uncomplicated place that was very enjoyable. We will be back!

This is a well managed and maintained property with a great setting. I stayed in a cabin which was clean and well stocked and with new towels. Staff here is efficient and friendly and the store has most anything you may have forgotten to bring. I hope to stay here again in the future.

Thank you! we appreciate the comment. cant wait to see you next year!
We do have wifi, but it can be finicky since we are located in a remote area. We do have cooking grills...lots of them...there is a propane grill on our back patio, a few charcoal grills on the property, each tent site has a firepit to cook on, and all of our creekside cabins have additional outdoor grills. Also, most of our cabins have a kitchenette with a cooktop, or a full kitchen.
The tv didn’t work nor could the person working there able to make it work. The price they charged was too much for what they can really offer other than a place to shower and sleep

I am sorry that your TV was not working, and that you feel our resort is only worth paying for if you get good TV reception. We pride ourselves on having a beautiful, clean, comfortable resort, and we do offer other amenities like outdoor games, a playground, walking trail, canoes for guest use, picnic areas, and more. We are working on getting better reception at our location, which should be in place by the late spring.
There are very few lodging options near Crater Lake. I didn't realize the cabin here did not have A/C. I never got the TV to work properly. I was pleasantly surprised with good water pressure, and the store had plenty of supplies. There are plenty of activities to do at the property.

Thank you for your review. You are correct, we do not have A/C, and we do not advertise that we do. With the mild summer temps in our area it does not make sense to pay for A/C in each one of our cabins, especially since that is a cost we would have to pass on to our guests. With an average high of 83, and an average low of 43, in July and August, it just doesn't make sense. We do include fans in each cabin for those days that get a little stuffy.
We had a great stay in one of the cabins. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. My friend and I traveled together and we felt like it was a safe place. It was a little drive to Crater Lake but that's understandable.

This is a camp site not a Resort with a dozen cabins and a few tents, and a lots of RV parking there! In the email you sent it was written as "You booked 1 room". In realty it is a tent.

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. We are a resort by definition. We have 13 lovely cabins, 4 camp sites, and 8 RV sites. Lots of green space, a playground, yard games, walking trail with a covered bridge and a floating bridge, pickle ball court, and canoe rentals. It looks as if you booked through a third party booking website, so I am sorry that you booked a tent instead of an actual cabin - but our lodging descriptions are very detailed.

Not close to Crater Lake. Quiet property. Not good to out of state visitors who did not bring RV or cooking utensils. Better for families who planned to spent days there. Luxury glamping, with small but clean 2 public bathroom and 1 showers.

Most of our guests enjoy our proximity to Crater Lake National Park. We are 7 miles to the park boundary, and 22 miles from the lake itself. There aren't many places closer!
Cute little cabin, rv, and camp site. Service was friendly and nice. Only downside is that there are no restaurants or gas stations near by. Otherwise very nice place

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you had to subtract a star because we don't have more amenities nearby, which is no fault of our own. There is a gas station and restaurant 12 miles down the road, which in our area, is actually pretty close! :)
Tesla destination charger! Cute cabins, beautiful property, informative staff! Check out the blue lagoon at Jackson Kimbell State Park! Highly recommend paddleboarding or kayaking! It’s about an hour drive from Crater Lake but it’s a beautiful drive and goes quickly.

Thanks for the awesome review! We are actually only 22 miles from Crater Lake, but with road conditions, low speed limit, and traffic, it can sometimes take almost an hour. But, it's worth the drive!
The Tesla charger was a huge help considering there aren't many chargers in the area. The property was great and the location was perfect, but I would stay there again for that reason alone.

If you are going to leave a 1 star review, please elaborate. Businesses cannot improve if they do not know what they need to improve upon. Have a wonderful day!
Property was nice, place was clean, the staff was friendly. Just a couple minor things, no hairdryers in rooms, our picnic table was damaged, no place to sit outside of cabin, outside chairs, lots of mosquitoes, which they can’t help. Just warn other folks or provide bug spray in room if you know they are that bad

I am sorry that no one warned you about insects that are found everywhere in the US. We pay to have our property sprayed, so they are actually not as bad as some of the other areas around us. Hope you have better luck next time you are out in nature.
No hair dryer, no AC, far away to look for restaurants.

Our average high temperature in the summer is 83, and the average low is 43, so it just doesn't make sense for us to have air conditioning. The closest restaurants are 12 miles away, which for our rural area, is pretty close. Sorry to hear you didn't find enjoyment at our peaceful resort.
