I just had a hard time enjoying my self at the Motel. It was loud by kids screaming, and cleaning staff talking getting ready for cleaning. My room was on the top floor - i assumed i might be on thr first floor - i have back problems and found it hard to go upstairs. Towels were dirty - but they have clean towels towels and sheets in an old size trash bin. I had the breaker go out twice, once for my blow dryer when i plugged in the black box that had many plugs and then when i plugged the heater the was on the room in. All basic things to do! The staff were very polite and would say sorry MAM -always with the yes mam, no mam.... and tall to me like i was stupid. Very cold in the room in May! This is just my option. Please use your own option.

The property has been reasonably updated and somewhat clean (found a bug in the bathtub). Nothing “spa” about it, but it is close to the public swimming pool. Although the room (probably the most rooms in this motel) has no view, it is in front of Harrison Lake and walkable to everything. We enjoyed the stay, but the first few nights of our stay, noise from downstairs was unbearable in the quiet hours. Irony is that the noise came from an employee’s room 😂.

It's definitely a "get what you pay for" low-end place to stay. The location was great, next to the lake. Although on a busy pedestrian street, it was quiet- could be not high tourist time. The service: It's Do Your Own housekeeping. I was there 3 nights, and nothing was done, nor was it part of the service (no garbage collection, if you want clean towels you take the dirty ones ot the office for replacement, no bed making, no wipe down.) I had no heat the first night and had to insist it be turned on. The unit had a nice full fridge and stove. The kitchen area was clean. Remember to wash your dishes before you leave :0 The bathroom did not have a sink counter so I used a chair in next to the bathroom door. The bathroom fixtures were clean, but the floor sure needed a scrub. Bedding is well used and the bed had a dip in the middle. I usually don't write bad reviews but could help myself with this motel.

For a motel, this property provides an excellent experience. It is a motel though, so obviously that innately comes with a different experience, let’s say, a lack of amenities compared to a hotel or resort (which is honestly the only reason I didn’t score them a 5). But these guys really try to make the best of what they have. And they have a stellar location—literally steps away from the best view in town. You’re also so close (walking distance) to great food and activities. They were also so friendly and accommodating (I asked to extend my stay and keep same room and they had to move stuff around but made it happen even though my request was last minute). Their restaurant HomeBase also has delicious burgers and sweet potato fries. I’ll definitely be staying here again.
