Lovely stay. Beautiful room. Made to feel very welcome. Super grounds. They all loved my dog. Excellent breakfast. One slight downside was the bed was too soft for my liking.

A pleasant stay, pool and gym facilities were a nice bonus. On-site restaurants seemed like poor value for money but Chichester town is within easy reach with more dining options.

Every member of staff was so accommodating it was a reminder of what it means when business talk about excellent customer service - Goodwood over achieves. I have already recommended to some colleagues and friends and can’t speak how good the facilities, service and estate are - take a visit and experience it

Slightly unusual mix of styles at this hotel which doesn't always work, but the good definitely outweighs the negative overall. The newer section of the hotel sprawls a bit and the buildings don't blend particularly well with the original which is a shame but the room standard, gym/pool area and public rooms are all good. Front desk service excellent, breakfast service a bit more hit and miss but overall a lovely spot and I would return.

Have stayed here 4 times and will continue to do so. Carpet in room 252 needs stretching as its necome worn and lumpy. Staff amazing. Swimming pool excellent. Towels lovely and soft. Bedlinen very nice.

Loved our 1 night stay. Spa was lovely food excellent in Bar and Grill. Staff friendly and very helpful. Just need more lighting in bedroom could hardly see anything. Maybe a centre light would be good.

We stayed for two nights with our dog. From the moment we arrived at Goodwood we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The room was spacious and well equipped including dog treats and the biggest dog bed I've seen in a hotel room, which our terrier very much enjoyed! The grounds are extensive and ideal for peaceful walks. We enjoyed walking our dog to the Kennels and relaxing there with a drink. One highlight was the Farmer Butcher Chef restaurant. As with the rest of our stay, the service was polite and attentive, dogs were very welcome, and the food was excellent. The quality of the ingredients was evident along with the chef's ability to create beautiful tasty food with local produce.

Despite reserving a room with a cot for a baby, we were allocated a room on the first level. There wasn’t a lift so we had to carry our pram up and down the stairs to access the dining and leisure facilities. On the weekend we stayed they were doing essential maintenance on the pool so we only had a few hours of use. However this was communicated to us prior to our arrival so did not come as a surprise. The hotel interiors were average and nothing “wow” factor about them. Our view was also of the car park but others may face slightly better views. The food was the highlight of our stay. We dined in both the Farmer, Butcher & Chef as well as the Goodwood Bar & Grill and enjoyed both occasions. The quality of the meats made the meal. We also visited the motor circuit and aerodrome which are free to explore and was a memorable day out.

Hotel needs modernisation
Bedrooms tired and in need of modernisation. Bathroom was a bit dirty too. Bar & grill really odd decor, looked old fashioned. However, Butcher, farmer restaurant was excellent. Signage for hotel could also be clearer.

Quality weekend away
Clean, comfy and spacious room. Good pool (although shallow end is very shallow and not much room for any serious swimming) and decent spa facilities. Very good breakfast - enjoyed the cooked options and pastries. Only downside was that on the Saturday evening the bar was pretty dead and lacked atmosphere so we didn't stay. Overall a very pleasant visit though.

Great hotel
The hotel was just a few minutes away from the Goodwood Motor Circuit. The room was large and comfortable.

Pretty shocking
Where to start? No information in the room about restaurants or spa. It was available online, but there was no information about wifi. Of the three advertised reataurants only one was open for two of the nights we stayed, which made few concessions to non-carnivores. The hotel pool seems to be public, while a childern's lesson was going on hotel guests had one lane, unusable if there's more than one guest wanting a swim. Spa lockers didn't work. Shampoo and soap wasn't replenished, used wine glasses weren't removed from the room. The room's window didn't open and close properly. Apart from that....

An amazing hotel
I love everything about Goodwood, and have visited numerous times, but had never stayed at the hotel. It was no disappointment. The team are consistently friendly and helpful, which is the thing that really makes it special. The Hotel rooms are cosy, clean and well appointed, the restaurants and bar are also higly recommended. I would thoroughly recommend it.
