We did enjoy our stay but I need to point out a few things. Loved the size of the room with those big windows. So much light. Kitchen/ living area well appointed. The bed was the worsted for comfort and the bedding made it worse. The shower had too much mold. On the back of the bathroom door was very dirty with handprints We did not have much interaction with staff but the lady in lobby was very pleasant and helpful So with a few adjustments this place could be a 10

The room was extremely neglected. Patches in a door that looked like my child did it. Scrapes along walls, weird stains on walls, sugar on the counter, the grates in the ceiling covered in dust look like never touched since birth, hated not having cable, the shades weren't blackout shades so had light in my room all night. Overall disappointing.

I’m writing to formally file a complaint regarding a serious noise disturbance during my stay. The guests in the unit next door held a very loud party from 10 PM to 3 AM, making it impossible to sleep or relax. Despite repeatedly calling and messaging Sonder throughout the night, no one ever came to address the situation. The noise only stopped temporarily when the guests left to go clubbing, but the disruption resumed when they returned. This was an extremely unpleasant experience, and it was disappointing that no onsite response or support was provided despite multiple reports. I expect a follow-up on how Sonder plans to address this incident and a refund or compensation for the night affected, given the severe disruption and lack of response.

Kitchen and Laundry set up was good. The bathroom did not have enough counter space to do your make up. The couch wasn’t very comfortable and there wasn’t any extra blankets or sheets. It was cleanish. The top of the bed head board was very dusty and the vents were very dusty. It was a safe area. I’d rate it 7/10.

This apartment was everything we could have wanted. Clean, spacious, comfortable with all amenities we needed. The building is quiet. The neighborhood was safe and walkable with places to eat, get coffee and groceries. We have no complaints and couldn’t have been any happier with this choice!

Broken pull out bed, staff said they would refund us money for it and it’s been over a month, I still have not received a refund and Sonder is dismissing me telling me it’s not their problem. Misrepresentation of how many people can actually stay, not meant for 6 people at all. Not even 4.

Sonder by Marriott was an excellent choice for a stay in downtown Chicago. My little family and I felt safe in a well decorated, maintained, and clean apartment-like setting. We also requested a travel infant bed, and within a half hour, an employee delivered our request. Everything about the lodging was perfect except for the parking. We had been under the guise there was free-parking. However, there was only street parking available. That in itself was not an issue except you can not park there if events are occurring at Solider Field. There was an event at Solider and you needed a special pass to park there- which we did not know, nor know how to access this pass. We ended up being fined seventy five dollars. It is not the end of the world nor does it take away from the excellent lodging. I believe there needs to be more clarification for parking options for guests in the future. Despite the parking issue, we will look to book Sonder by Marriott for any future stays.

Nightmare Experience! Should be avoided at all costs. Was provided the wrong unit (room type was not what I booked), took 2 hours to get into the correct unit (stood in hallway while agent on the phone tried to get the door code to work), at one point was asked to provide proof the code they provided was not working. There are no staff on premise to help. Finally got into the correct unit and there were no sheets for the pull out couch. The pull out couch mattress was dirty. The closet doors did not close. Sheets could not be delivered until the next day. There is no mechanism to speak to someone with authority, all agents are working from home and do not have the tools they need to resolve issues in a timely manner…took 2 hours for them to give me a door code that worked. Stay away from the Sonder South Wabash!!

They never gave me the access code. The customer will run you around in circles for hours with no solution I sat outside for 6 hours infront of the room door on my birthday after the customer gave me various wrong entry codes. Worst experience of my life
