We had to carry our suitcases upstairs , but you pay for what you get and the price was right. The location was great , easy walking distance in to the city. There is a really amazing restaurant right next door called the Cooking Love.
If you're on a very tight budget and not too fussy it will do. The walls badly needed a coat of paint and stains everywhere. As for the mattress, well best we don't go there.I've not had such a depressing room since my India days 25 years ago. However the sheets and pillow cases did seem clean although old and thin. You get what you pay for but there is better for similar money.
Suggest you spend more for another hotel. The bed was too soft (old), the wall and door were too thin and can hear everything outside. There is a restaurant next to the hotel served BBQ food was good and yummy.
