Our stay at the pastell was very nice! The pool was nice and cool with a waterfall. The breakfast buffet and egg sandwiches available in the lobby were cooked to order and tasted amazing, the staff was also all very friendly and took great care of us and the cleaning of the rooms. The amenities available and the room were very nice and comfortable, the bathroom and shower was very unique. Also great location for being central for a lot of great experiences around the area like the bizzar

This was a wonderful property! Very clean. Great location and yet it was very quiet and peaceful. It was easy to walk or Grab to everything we did. The bed was super comfortable! AC was great. The staff was very sweet and helpful. The breakfast was okay for me since I’m gluten free but my husband, who is not gluten free, said it was delicious! Laundry services were great and timely. Our only dislike was the massages - were more expensive than places outside of the hotel and not as good.

The hotel was very cute and the staff was very kind. The location is pretty decent, not really in the hustling and bustling area of things but getting around using Bolt is pretty easy and inexpensive.

Pastell old town was a great stay! rooms are cute, clean and bed was comfy. The pool area was darling and a welcome break from the heat and sun. The breakfast place in front was also quite delicious.

The receptionists’ customer service was terrible. Told us to return later to check in but when we did they laughed at us and said our room isn’t ready. We asked if we could use the pool while we waited. They begrudgingly obliged. The room was again not ready after they said it would be a second time. They told us we had to pay for coffee when later we learned it was complimentary. We asked advice about things to do in town and they stared at us. I don’t know if they spoke English or not but if they did they were hiding that fact from us. Our room was quite gross. Bugs all over the beds. Hairs all over the bathroom. The bathroom sink was ready to collapse. If an adult leaned on it, it looked close to falling off the wall as the sides were totally disconnected from the wall. Could see they had attempted to caulk it many times. The TV didn’t work. I cannot believe this place calls itself a boutique hotel.

Loved staying at this cute little hotel. It was in close proximity to markets, temples, massage parlors & laundry facilities. The room was small, but very clean & had all the amenities we needed. Everyday we got new water bottles & the staff was very nice. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great area, not far from airport but tons of stuff nearby. Staff very friendly, hotel very clean and cute. We forgot an item at the hotel on the way to the airport and they even sent a grab driver to bring it to us. Would recommend and would stay again!

After a 2 week trip going to many places in Thailand, this was our favorite hotel and city. Down the street was our favorite restaurant “lookbua” where we got pad Thai for 40 baht. We had a rooster outside our window that was a natural alarm clock, so no day was wasted by sleeping in. Hotel staff were amazing and their breakfast was super mega dope. Def recommend this place. There’s also a laundry service across the street and they will do your laundry and deliver it to the hotel for I think 200 baht.

We stayed here during a four day stay in Chiang Mai. The location of this hotel was excellent with many amenities being within walking distance, including the night market. During our stay we were able to walk everywhere with ease. The property was clean and well kept. There was a coffee maker in the lobby which guests could help themselves to at any time. The hotel also has a cute little porch out front which was a nice touch and a lovely spot to sit with a morning coffee or while waiting for rides. The pool is small with very limited seating so this is not the place to plan on being able to have a full pool day at. Would absolutely recommend and stay at this location again.

This was a beautiful, well-maintained hotel in a great part of town. Staff was incredibly hospitable and the rooms were luxurious and well appointed. The pool was very cute and there is a lot of attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful! The breakfast sandwiches were delicious and the room was stunning and very clean. The people at the desk were incredibly kind and helpful. It was so relaxing drinking my morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the pool.

Overall rooms are nice. Walls a little thin. No mosquito nets and pool isn’t really useable. Location isn’t great you’re either doing a 30 min walk or getting a tuk tuk everywhere. Staff are nice and overall good service. Fine if you want a cheap place for one or two nights but nothing more

During our short stay in Chiang Mai we stayed at Pastell old town and it was amazing! It was very safe by only having access to the rooms area by using your key card and entering late at night. The pool is small but very beautiful and esthetic. The rooms are very well maintained and comfortable for all. The staff was great with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Nice boutique hotel in central area
The room was a little small so we changed to a larger unit . Pool was closed for deck maintenance for a few days which was disappointing and it was not the best area to enjoy it by the lobby . The decor was sublime and breakfast station and sitting area charming and free coffee in the lobby even it you didn’t take breakfast. Staff was lovely and helpful .

A nice, clean and cozy hotel with very helpful staff. Situated at a quiet street but walking distance to the huge, interesting Sunday night market and many eateries and massage parlours. Smacked in the old town so it is very convenient to get to many attractions.

Great homey boutique hotel
Absolutely loved our stay. This small hotel has so many sweet details that we enjoyed. Here are some that stood out: - A side day bed/sofa in the room, great for lounging, napping, reading. - Complimentary coffee (machine, but has options for latte, cappuccino, etc.) in the morning, even if you aren't paying for the breakfast option. - The lounge pillows and headboard use a really soft quilted cotton cover. So comfortable. Wish I could take it home. - Beautiful entry/foyer space that has some seating space that you can use (for example, when waiting for your taxi). The high ceilings and pastel colors make it very bright and inviting. - Small booth to purchase locally made snacks and gifts. - Overall very clean, which always makes things so much more comfortable. Thank you staff of Pastell!

Staff are very nice and helpful. The main road near hotel has many cafes and restaurants and anything you might need like a pharmacy. Rooms are nice. The bathroom design is a little odd with the shower window into the room but there’s a curtain for privacy. It’s fine.

We had a great stay at Pastell. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We had out laundry sent out for washing and it was back clean and folded he following day. We appreciated the breakfast and coffee on site. Our only negative is that the room we had smelled like mold. We know that the air conditioning combined with the humidity makes that challenging but it was something we noticed during our stay. We still had a great time.

This place is a hidden gem. The pics are 100% accurate! I thought the hotel embellished the pics but when I entered the hotel and my room, I was blown away by how accurate the pics were. The staff is friendly, the room amenities (especially the mattress) was amazing! The view from the balcony wasn't Ace but I would still consider it 10/10. The hotel is in the quieter side of Olt Town but it is still worth it.

We loved our stay at Pastell Oldtown. It is beautifully situated on it's own small street and is within walking distance (or an affordable tuk tuk ride) from anything you need, including a variety of delicious restaurants and cafes, the Southgate market, dispensaries, temples, shops, pharmacy, 7/11, etc... The staff were a highlight- very hospitable, always willing to answer questions, provide change, or make recommendations and with a smile. The aesthetic of the hotel is as cute as the pictures. Breakfast is good. The pool is small and intimate, which was nice because most often there were only 1 or 2 parties in there at a time. We certainly appreciated the 24hr coin laundry around the corner. We stayed 6 nights here and enjoyed each one of them. Highly recommend.
