Property was great, smoking tobacco is allowed on the balcony which was nice to not have to go for a walk….. place was clean and the floating breakfast was awesome

Beautiful interior design. Wonderful staff. Easy walking distance to restaurants and wats and Sunday night market. Yet quiet area. The road to entrance is like an alley wide enough for one car, but there are streetlights along the road, and I felt safe. The pool is nice! I love that all the seats are positioned on the shadiest part, because when it’s hot outside, you don’t need the sun beating down on you too. Plenty of free bottled water provided. I would come back here again!

Rooms were spacious, modern and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Offered laundry service at a very reasonable price. Beautiful pool. Very convenient and walkable to restaurants and temples. Would definitely stay here again.

I loved our stay at El Barrio in Chaing Mai. The room was lovely, quiet, and very clean. The staff was so kind and gracious. I would absolutely stay here again.

We only stayed 1 night but loved it. Check-in was easy and the staff was very friendly and spoke good English. The bathtub was the highlight of the room for me. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The thai style breakfast was amazing. Staff and service was a 10 out of 10 for us. We wish we could have stayed longer. We'll be back for sure. Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel that I would recommend to friends and come back again for another stay. If there is anything to improve, that would be better to have quality toilet paper and a bath mat in the shower area for safety precaution.

Amazing place in the Old City
The place was amazing... very clean and confortable, the friendliest staff, amazing food in their inhouse restaurant, and located just off the main road for quiet night's sleep, but close enough to great restaurants, massages, and shops. Always staff at the entrance who were amazingly helpful.

Bon rapport qualité prix!
Très grande chambre, grande salle de bain. Lits très confortables. Bouteilles d’eau disponibles gratuitement. Le petit déjeuner est le moins bon de notre voyage. Par contre, omelettes fraîchement faites. Il faut savoir que les rues adjacentes à l’hôtel sont résidentielles et que quelques minutes de marche sont nécessaires pour accéder aux restos.

My family and I stayed at El Barrio on the first day we arrived Chiang Mai. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The rooms were cozy and clean. The swimming pool was too small for swimming but large enough if you want to enjoy a soak under the hot weather, and you could take beautiful photos from the room with balcony facing the pool! I would say it was a delightful stay overall.

No sun here!
It was a good location in the Old Town and had what looked like a lovely swimming pool which we considered a benefit when we booked. However, the design was such that there was virtually nowhere you could sit in the sun! Even our balcony though having a good view, didn’t catch the sun - which as cold northerners is something we want to do on a foreign holiday.

Incredible property with amazing amenities. Location was perfect, right in the head of the ancient city but also very peaceful in the evenings. The staff was overly helpful with anything you might need including luggage storage and always had fresh fruit, juices, coffee and cookies waiting for us along with an amazing breakfast. Would highly recommend!

Nice little hotel
Enjoyed my stay at El Barrio Lanna. Great location down a side street in the Old City. Very comfortable bed - clean and spacious room overlooking the pool. Quiet little oasis close to city centre. Staff very helpful and accomodating. I would recommend for your stay in Chiang Mai.
