The property itself is perfect. And if you want to be near the airport the location is good. A bit noisy area if you are looking for quiet. I just needed a place for a couple nights before flying out. So, this place was perfect for me.

What's not to like about this place except that it can be noisy at times. It's near the airport and people are often staying to do tours and can be a bit loud throughout the night. The walls aren't the thickest, but there are signs that notify guests to keep quiet, because the hotel is mostly teek wood. It's very cool looking and makes for awesome photos, but sound travels a bit. If you're really picky I'd bring earplugs, or just get used to it. Great value for the price, honestly.

This is a beautiful hotel with a friendliest of staff. It’s a must stay. It is not walkable to anything so you will have to travel, but the hotel is well worth the travel. The people are great. The hotel is beautiful.

I was on the 2nd floor, so I'm not sure about the 1st floor, but it was really noisy. I stayed for about 2 weeks and almost every night I could hear people walking, talking, and living their life next door. The floor will move when they move too quickly. There are signs that tell guests to keep it down and they provide shoes to help with sound and to keep the teak wood healthy. I believe the hotel is very aware of the issue, however, without guests really understanding the rooms are boutique and made of special woods that can carry sound and vibrate, the hotel will continue to receive a 4 star rating in this category. It really deserves 5 stars for absolutely everything else. I'll miss my time at Baan U Sabai and the friendly cute staff!!!! Maybe I'll book a room downstairs and see if it's different!
