Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch

Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch

8/10 Good
"Over all, our stay was fine. Staff was very kind. We visited for an event that took place in one of the 2nd floor ballrooms where I was a vendor. The food served for us at breakfast was delicious. However, one of the first things that happened to me upon getting to our room was my mother coming out from the bathroom and going, "Uh, someone pooped in our shower?". Turns out, it was just a very convincing rust spot, so I'm glad we didn't complain and look completely foolish, but still. The beds were comfortable though, and the water ran quite hot. The halls are a bit of a twist-and-turn to navigate and we were on the side of the building facing the MLK Bridge, which is a nice view. You are, however, literally right next to the Arch. All you have to do is step outside on Chestnut street and look to your left. The bar and common areas downstairs were nicely furnished; I spent some time with my laptop down there while my travel companions turned in early. Interesting spot to people watch. They also have a designated area for DoorDashers and other delivery folks to leave items, but I was usually waiting for them right at the door. My only complaint is that parking is far too high! We parked down the street a bit instead, and other than our GPS leading us on the longest route back to the hotel imaginable, we saved at least $50 on our two night stay, and the garage was perfectly walkable, even with our luggage and vending supplies."

Hollywood Casino & Hotel St. Louis

Hollywood Casino & Hotel St. Louis

"Stayed 1 night for a concert. Typical charges for parking and amenities which will be extra. Walking isn't very friendly to amphitheater even though it's in the same area, would take 30 minutes and not a designated walking area for it. Basically you pay parking twice either for a shuttle or driving to park there. No soap, use body wash. A little overpriced IMO. Bed was nice and comfortable. Hotel very clean and not smokey which is nice. No pool and no free breakfast. We ate at the Italian restaurant but I thought was pricey. If you don't mind spending the money and like to gamble it might be worth it for you. If you're like me and value your money, I won't be back unless the prices drop. Find a cheaper just as good hotel and save $75-$100 bucks on a hotel with pool and free breakfast and drive and park there. Just my 2 cents."

"The staff was accommodating as much as possible. The rooms were decent for the price during the week but when the weekend came it doubled in price. The vending machines didn’t work properly. Overall it’s a place to stay and food is nearby in walking distance."
